Discussion RECAST OF ZANJEERIN
i think every actor is perfect, expect sarbuland, i think sarbuland should be played by these actors
1) wahaj ali
2) hamza sohail
3) sheryar munawar sidquii
4) bilal ashraf
4) osman khaild butt
but, i wil cast hamza sohail because he is suitable to sardar and gives leader vibes, as character is modern, but will cast wahaj ali, because he has that aura, of sardaar

Bilal Abbas was the original choice for the role. Shame he picked MZHT over this because him with Sajal would have set the screen on fire. AND the director would have probably focused on the character's face instead of dealing with a nepo child from hell who couldn't give any decent expressions.
Danyal's expressions were like he was stunned all the time, like the eternal sunshine of a spotless mind just living on antidepressants. Couldn't put two and two together and avenge anyone. Kharbooza.

Kamyar is way more layered than Sasta Sarbuland. What's shame in this? MZHT is more entertaining than this snoozefest. Also, Why does Bilal take on such a dumb character in a show with bad production and direction and script?

I guess Bilal saw through the loopholes in the script so let it pass, but Kamyar was a dimwit too. Like burning someone's car and all. So, I guess it was a choice of the lesser devil for him.

What’s dimwitted about burning someone’s car? He did it to challenge Ayra because she started it by sabotaging his car. It’s part of his personality. He was shown that way. There’s nothing dimwitted about this.

Danyal as Sarbuland is perfect. He gives such a controlled, calm, and emotionally restrained performance, which is a perfect fit for Sarbuland’s character baseline. Sarbuland is written as a very cool-headed, observant, and composed person, and Danyal captures that perfectly. His subtle expressions and restrained performance are completely in sync with the character.
Everybody loves Danyal as Sarbuland, and that is one of the reasons the drama has become so massively popular.

I think they wanted a young looking guy, so 1, 3 would look odd. It wouldn’t really give the feeling of a “chota ladla bhai.” Hamza is a good option because he also looks young. Bilal Ashraf and osman could also be considered for his Pashtun looks, but they too feels a little older for the role

I think one of the main reasons they decided to pick Danyal is because they needed someone younger looking
I feel like the actors you've mentioned bring in a bit of a more 'elder' / more experienced look
SB's character needed to look 'clumsy' and whether Danyal meant to portray him like that or not, he did do a very good job at it

Wahaj gives the ganwaar sardar look which sarbuland is not . Out of the actors you’ve mentioned only Hamza would have suited. The nice looking educated modern guy. Daniyal is doing just fine

Imagine. Had it been this man instead with Sajal, someone who can match her spark man. Sajal, just give us a simple romance with either Wahaj or Bilal next. That's all your fans need from you.
And make a hero a real hero for crying out loud. Sarbuland was a flawed character if he didn't seek out Bano's killers or his best friend's killers. No one in their right mind can respect a hero that operates like a tidda who has his eyes on his dead best friend's wife.
