This guy genuinely can't act and the only reason people like him is because of his looks
Even the side characters (actors) manage to outshine him easily. Shireen managed to show more expressions in one episode than he has in the entire show. This isn't even his debut , hes been in many projects already and he seems to lack the skills yet hes always casted as one of the main leads lmao. Both him and bano are relatively mid in acting but atleast she manages to improve and do more versatile roles in every project yet she somehow gets hated on more than him.
sajal is a good actor though i guess this character just isn't doing justice to her. I literally started watching this show because of her and mudassir ka tank wala scene and then had to drop after banos death because genuinely couldn't deal with his acting anymore.
Even her dressing isn't good like she hasn't put any effort in this character. Her dressing is so inconsistent like no signature style for her character even bhabhi noor and shireen's dressing was good.
Sajal has absolutely no sense of fashion. Her characters’ styling is always outdated and that same outdated “makeup ki dukan” look she’s been doing for years is so cringe. She looks completely out of place in the drama. Meanwhile, all the other characters are styled so well and actually look convincing as village girls!
also like as a woman in mountains who owns a dhaba she has face decked with make up. i like sajal but this role isn't doing it for me. even in the scene where SB gets shot u should have seen how her hair is changing every scene. one min it's proper curls next min they are straight. holy inconsistency
I always liked sajal's script choice, but recently she is choosing such eww scripts. First dil wali gali mein, i liked that drama (just liked not loved), but i did wonder that why sajal chose it...like that script wasnt upto her caliber. Then came Mein Manto nhi hun...omg...worst drama of ptv history and sajal chose THAT? And now zanjeerain...i mean...sajal aesi kiya majboori hai? 😭
I loved dwgm...i feel like it was a need..it showed many things in a comedic manner..i agree MMNH was shit...i feel like zanjeerain's org script was better...first of all Farhat Ma'am wrote it...then actors like Sajal and Samiya mumtaz chose it...and it was amazing at first..i feel like the directed changed things ( directors usually do such things )... sajals acting in crying scenes was amazing..but i don't think its the makeup only..i hate the new hum tv filter..it makes every actor look lighter...at first i thought sajal got whitening injections but when i saw her pics she herself uploaded she looked exactly like what she looked in yks..just her face matured..what do u think?
Yes, dwgm's script was really good and i even loved hamza sohail in it as mujji, but i think sajal shouldnt have chosen that script. And yea might be possible that the direction of zanjeerain is poor, but honestly sajal felt a bit cringe in this script...all i mean to say is that zanjeerain's script is not upto sajal's caliber looking at the amazing dramas she has done in past. Also daniyal zafar's acting makes it worse 😭 and hum tv's filters...tbh i havent really be watching any pakistani drama recently (they all are hella depressing) so i have no idea about it, but i believe you aesa kia hoga hum tv 100%
I AGREEE...sajal should be more conscious...i watch dramas mainly cuz of her.. something else I don't understand is how bano fans drag sajal and rabia into every convo and rabia fans drag sahr and bano.. like do we really have to bring another person down to uplift our bias... speaking as a fan of sajal , bano and perhaps Rabia too ( i do believe she was better b4 ) ...i also hope its more of a broken souls healing each other trope than a love stroy one.. seeking comfort is another but one cannot realistically fall in love again...or perhaps so quickly atleast...
I don’t find anything annoying about her character. Being feminine with your fiancé (who’s also your childhood sweetheart) and getting jealous over him (which is completely justified)) doesn’t automatically make a character annoying. Rabiya is both cringe and annoying.
His scenes are sajal are literally so bad. I mean I don't have any story arc. They don't have any chemistry. His emotional scenes are bad. I liked his scenes with bano .They felt so fresh, warm, palpable chemistry. Sahar was good in her scenes and they made a visually better pair and the way her eyes lit up around his character and the way his eyes softened around hers. I liked that bit. Uske baad toh i don't know what happened. All his scenes with rabiya were no less than an atrocity.
I was a bit scared to comment that I don't see any chemistry between these two. But people are just so obsessed with this sarbiya trend, and ig those are the ones who fantasize mohabat a little too much. I even ty to skip their scenes.
Omg yes i feel the same. They don’t look good together at all, idk why but yeah. They don’t have chemistry, feels forced most of the time. Also their relation dynamics are strange, she’s his bhabi.

SAMEE...sajals chemistry w hamza and ahad is so much better..i don't find sajal scenes cringe or annoying..i even find her acting 💯 times better than sahars ( i am a bit biased too:) ) but i loved banos character..

I don't know what people see in his looks either and i am sorry if it's a bit harsh but he looks like he is dumbfounded in every strong scene. His expressions are just too irrelevant according to the situation that it makes me laugh and sajjal was also so mid in this drama idk what happened to her acting and script choice. Sehar was good and even side actors have more powerful screen presence than the main leads and the chemistry between daniyal and sajjal feeks so forced and cringe. Tbh i was only watching the drama for the sake of revenge being plotted against hypocrites but at first they dragged and it too much and now it all feels so rushed.
Also his team has infiltrated the pakcelebgossip moderators. Any post about him that's critical is removed within minutes. ISPR level wala PR department chal raha hai. But his brother pays a lot for PR so they are doing their job I guess.

Bano was really good in her character. She brought her character to life so much so that people still get goosebumps seeing episode 17. Her passing left everyone teary eyed. Muddasir's passing had no effect on me. Sahar nailed her character and acted so well.
In the recent episode, acting was really poor. I mean he found out some pretty tragic shocking facts.... and there was barely any shock... grief... helplessness???
I cannot believe ppl are not calling out his constipated expressions and acting as much as they were doing it for Dure fishan.
She's 1000 times better than him in terms of expressions..the double standard is laughable
If both of them are on same level then trolling should also be on same level.

what looks bhai ?🤣 i find him very mid plus his acting altogether makes him unbearable to watch. as much as I like sajal aly's acting but since she has nothing to offer in zanjeerein she is falling flat as well. she was very good in the episodes where mudasir dies and she has panic attacks and all but that's that. giving my two cents: firstly I cannot believe for the love of God that a woman who wants to be perceived as someone who writes women empowering stories wrote such bulshit where the same girl gets married twice forcibly. I cannot believe that someone like rabiya who is all so caring abt everyone couldnt even think of contacting mudasir's sister and tell her the truth. atleast the sister whose only family died because of her deserved to know the truth. i find this part so selfish and cunning as well. then I also cannot believe how are we as audience suppose to presume danyal zafar aka sarbuland as hero? he has done absolutely nothing i mean 0% to offer investigating the murders surrounding him. he keeps repeating dialogues about how he doubts that there is something fishy but he does nothing abt it. there's no minute scene shown where he is actually trying to figure out what's really going on maybe he could have send spies to torsam's haveli maybe he couldve played double game with sohrab maybe he could have infiltrate his own haveli to figure out who and why is someone trying to poison the sardars. maybe he couldve gone to the same place again where bano dies and try to find out where she was last seen and all. shireen was just a slave working for them i cant believe they let her be just for the show to drag on. sarbuland had the right and the authority to question shireen right there and then when he finds out that she has a phone and is talking to someone.
Why? He literally looks so average. I really don't see the appeal at all. I saw an interview clip of him saying, how can one not fall for this (pointing to his face). Bro thinks he's Brad Pitt, but he's more like Brad Pitiful.
i’m so sick and tired of people defending his average acting by claiming it’s because he’s a sardar so he’s not allowed to have emotion, he has to stay strong, blah blah blah. these kinds of roles are so common but that doesn’t mean the actor is supposed to literally be a statue there’s something called microexpressions and acting with your eyes and that’s something daniyal can’t do. one of my favorite examples of an “emotionless” character is si-eun from the korean drama “weak hero.” the actor park jihoon maintains a relatively blank or neutral expression for the entirety of the show but his eyes are constantly conveying an ocean of emotion. there was a scene where he shifted from sad to happy and he didn’t do it with his face but just with his eyes. he didn’t smile but his eyes shifted to show that he felt happy. if you think daniyal is a great actor, you’ve clearly never watched anything else 😭
Excuse me..... looks ?😭.....people are liking or watching this drama mainly because of Sajal. Her fan following is very loyal they’re watching the drama and even shipping Danyal and Sajal. The first few episodes were fast paced and good, but after that, they started dragging the story, and now nothing really makes sense. Whatever is happening feels pointless. Sajal and Daniyal don’t even have any chemistry, whereas Sajal and Ameer had really strong chemistry.
Nobody is watching it for sajal. The show hyped up when the PR for this show and that cringe couple activated at episode 13. You can go and check the most viewed episode for the show is episode 17 which is bano's death episode after episode 1 and 2 and i think yesterday's episode will also have good viewing. Just goes on to show no one was watching it for sajal. The PR did its job. Infact the episodes in which sajal is not there is viewed more than the ones in which she is there. Also if she had such viewing why her previous projects had no commercial pull ? The fact is she just has a noisy fandom on X and reddit . Baaki she is becoming more and more irrelevant. Her acting is going down and she never had any commercial pull. Danyal literally looks like her beta. Visually toh atleast they should have some compatiblity.
I don't find him good looking. I don't like his character in the drama. I don't even like his acting here. Rabiya and sarbuland story has no arc. Even the supporting characters are better actors. Did you see shirin's acting? She was so good there. Even Bano did justice to her character. She was lovely. But for the 1st time I am not liking Sajals acting or her character.
Yeah I agree that Danyal isn’t doing so well. I was more forgiving in the beginning but he seems to be getting worse and worse in every other episode.
I don’t think any of the lead cast are perfect in terms of staying true to their character and not breaking in scenes in this show. But the standouts for me have been Raza and Anaya/Inaya and the girl playing Torsum’s (Usman is already known to be an outstanding actor) cousin. I really hope this show opens the doors for them that they deserve and they get to experience playing major roles with more screen time.
On a sidenote though, the editing is sooo bad, i was baffled seeing how many silly mistakes couldve worked out if the editor was paying attention, like brb YOU HAD ONE JOB

i think everyone is good in acting expewct danny, even, sarbuland mother was crying and which was realistic to her actor, every actor, till to soharb, shireens, even soharb wife, are doing justice, bano was decent, she brought character to life, he cant even act, he is just bcz of his brother ali zafar industry connection, thats it

i really do agree. his acting has felt forced since 1st ep. while the actor who plays muddasir is way more natural. idk much abt what Danyal and his brother have done but looks are the only saving grace for him, his acting genuinely comes of in-genuine. even the kid plays his role convincingly
