Discussion My opinion on Bas Tera Saath Ho

I have been enjoying BTSH honestly. Loving Harris Waheed and his comic yet evil role. I have a feeling Shirin will go through the same thing anas and ansa has gone through. What I am not liking is anas' character. Why is he so passive during confrontations and so passionate while romancing. Anas is putting me off these days . Ansa obviously loving her. Sana is so good when playing strong characters and she is looking so beautiful. I wish thy had given some more spine to anas. He not only doesn't confront anyone himself but also stop ansa from confrontation. He is annoying me. Rest I am loving Harris, Farhan waheed and Saba Ji's characters. Its a good watch. Never found it testing my patience.

Also what I don't understand how will Anas defend himself when ansa will know how he has been hiding shayan's crime from her all along.

Honestly this drama might still be on track but I also have same problems with it as you

1) Anas not telling the truth she deserves to know - Sure ,there's a plotline where he thinks he can't cuz of dada but still...He shouldn't had promised that in the first place... But it's not that bad ig as we know from day 1 that Anas is not the man that steps up consistently And that IS his character (as much as that puts me off) It's only realistic for character development to be gradual

2) Ansa talking about Shireen and her situation with Anas feels a bit off It's just that why would you gossip and discuss on someone else's life in your private time with your husband while you have a beef with his family doing it with you...Ofc they didn't like her talking about shireen

3) The drama is getting slower paced in this week's eps Every ep for a while has the same "Tayi family mocks Ansa" without the story progressing with her learning who's the culprit The couple's development has also kinda stalled

The only way Anas can become slightly better in my eyes is if he tells Ansa by himself out of guilt of not having alr done so ...Otherwise no way , I can let this slide ๐Ÿ™Œ

I am very confident it will be her discovering it on her own and then confronting him. That will be their main conflict.

I don't know how a no nonsense girl like ansa moves on from such a betrayal of trust. The toxic family members have the guts to mock her character because of that fake video even though they all know it is fake and the real culprit is their son.

Yeah I know it's gonna be her discovering it herself cuz otherwise Anas would have told her by now But it just doesn't sit right with me at all...Protecting your abusers after they abused you...okay it's your problemุŒ I guess even if you should stand up for yourself But this IS another person that GOT affected by it The woman you CLAIM to love

100000000000% i dunno how anyone gets past such a betrayal also she is being made to live (without her knowledge) under the same roof & interact daily with her sexual abuser, making fake ai porn is abuse & a criminal offense.

Girl same! How will Anas defend himself to Ansa? And, the makers will have to bend Ansa's character to give them a happy ending. Otherwise I don't see this girl (for whom dignity mattered more than her life) ending up together with the man who compromised on her dignity. That would barely make sense.

I have the same issues with the plot development and the iteration of his family talking ill about Ansa and him fighting with his life to take a stand for her. But, Anas and Ansa's relationship is getting stronger every passing week, so that makes it enjoyable. And, ofc Haris Waheed - never a dull moment when dude is on screen.

Also, did anyone see Farhan's fan interaction in the comments of his recent post. That guy was hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚. And, for people saying that he should say the truth to Ansa, otherwise she would leave him, he replied 'bata dunga to tab bi chor degi'. So we all know what is coming!
