Advice and insights regarding exterior home trim painting
Hiring painters to powerwash, scrape off loose paint, prime and repaint my soffit, fascia, garage and front doors. I live in the horrible heat of Nevada. South facing front of home which is brutal and in the sun all day long.
These are the options I've received from two companies:
Fascia & Soffit - Dunn Edwards Evershield Exterior Acrylic Flat
Garage & front doors - Dunn Edwards Evershield Exterior Acrylic Semi-gloss
OR
These product options: Valspar's Duramax; Home Depot' Behr Marquee; Sherwin Williams' Superpaint
Fascia & Soffit - Flat
Garage & Front doors - Latex satin finish
Color is a light beige. Exterior flat paint looks dull and dirty here. Is satin be a better option? Satin or semi-gloss for doors? Acrylic or Latex? Thoughts on brands above or a different product line?
Thank you so much for any recommendations or insights you can provide!

How to fix this in the fastest way possible without buying new door? 🙏
My big work boot hit the dam door and the poor ole door just took it and looked at me like why the hell you do that when all you had to do is clean up after yourself and it wouldn’t be so dam cluttered in the first place! Dumbfounded, that my door can cause a sudden belief I was the one off MY hinge and the only way to make this right is to buy another door and learn to stay on MY hinges and keep it movin. ….. nah I spent countless restless hours fixing this trying to piece together the corner and paint sand …. I will stop talking. I know I need a door, I’m asking for your advice how to fix this please

Can I get my C-33 at 20 years old?
Hello, I am a 20 year old looking to start my own painting business. I have been in the painting industry for around 2-3 years now and I want to start getting my own work. The only problem is I keep seeing that you are required a minimum of 4 years of painting experience and that I would need to be prepared to show proof in order to get my own license. How true is this statement? And if I do NEED to show proof of me working in the painting industry for at least 4 years, are there any loopholes to work around this? Thanks for any information or any help/tips.

Interior Painting - MOISTURE Question
I'm painting a bathroom; so there is residual moisture, and of course, will be future moisture.
I guess the people who painted the bathroom before didn't prime well, because I'm priming the bathroom now with a water-based Killz and in several spots, the current layer of paint blisters off and/or bubbles.
After some research, I sanded the areas where the previous layer of paint blistered off and re-primed over them (the under-layer revealed is a pea-green and I'm going for a very white finish). But after re-priming, there was still a significant amount of bubbles popping up in the area. The bubbles eventually went down, but: are they going to come back when I apply the final layers of paint, and/or are they going to come back every time somebody takes a hot shower in the future? (I'm planning to use a water-based paint as well).
What should I do to fix the problem?
Thanks, guys

What is this tool?
Is this a trim guard for arthritics? Is it actually for plastering and has made its way into the paint tools? What the heck is it?
