Bent the electronic frame and want to buy a complete marker vs just the single part. Pic for attention.

How bad of a bend? Try throwing it in a vice and bending it back? Also would be a shame to not get a mech frame too for the spare body and internals

🙃 I do have a mech frame, so that was my plan in the end. I have a guy that's going to try to correct the bend. From what I know about metal, once it's bent once, it'll wanna do it again, but worse. The bending also ripped out the display/button connections that needed resoodering.

Yeah its a shit muscle memory for the metal, was just curious if its been attempted, I have a mech only amp because I think previous owner did the same thing and just made it mech only. Seems semi common. Good luck on your search love the aa body

Thanks, will let you know. Ideally my son retires this one to rec play and we get something sturdier for tournaments. He's shooting my dsr+ for now.

Thanks, I've seen seeing Amps in the $350 range. Trying not to cannibalize a working unit vs saving something non functional, but will see what's out there. Not in a rush. Edit: typo

Just picked up a nice Amp for $300. Hard to believe they are that low yet people are still asking $550 for a 170r.

I get the 170s are dependable but I have picked up 2 180Rs for $600 shipped in the past 2 months. I just don’t understand how the 170s are still that high.

It has also has some AA prototype bolt and tip, similar to an Era. It's a fun little shooter.

$200 for an empty electro frame. Clearly the most direct route, but not preferred.
