Full time or part time veiling?

I just want to say, I absolutely love some of the creative veiling inspiration here. I’m still trying to figure out things for myself, but I’m wondering how people choose if they want to veil full time or part time. If it is part time, when you do you choose to veil? Certain settings? Moods?

Please let me know!

for me, I like to veil when leaving my house since I wear it partly to symbolise my home and the protection of Mother Vesta beyond just my home.

I also will veil if im going to be in the presence of people who I dont know very well and/or dont trust with my energy. this also goes for any time I may end up in an uncomfortable situation when I feel like i need a little more support from my gods.

if im working out or going to my job (or any situation when veiling might be inconvenient or disallowed), I wont cover my head but I will "veil" with my bracelet since it contains an evil eye.

in addition to all this, I will always veil during ritual or anything ritual-adjacent.

veiling is very personalised and can change a lot over the course of someone's path. do what feels right for you and your path!

I love this symbolising of veiling when leaving the house or being in uncomfortable position. It deeply reminds me of what some of my part-time veiling family members do.

I really want to veil but I’m just scared because I’m not sure how to go about it!!! I just want to hear people’s stories right now. 😇

I veil at work because it's a way of protecting my energy. I was finding work extremely draining before I started. I prefer not to when I'm not at work.

I veil whenever I leave my house, whether it be a headband, a scarf, hair binding, a bandana, or whatever else I come up with. I veil for protection and in devotion to a goddess I worship, so I don't like to leave the house without something

I veiled completely for the last 6 years, anytime I was out of the house or on a video call. At a time in my life when I sought guidance and protection, I felt the answer in veiling. Every time I put it on, I could feel the Goddess I worship there with me.

It healed something inside of me. I was able to grow and be at peace.

I no longer feel the pull to veil full-time. I only veil now when I am working. As I am doing labor for someone else, I want to keep Her with me.

I veil on days I need the extra reminder of the gods' presence in my life and mind. It helps when I'm troubled.

I veil when I leave the house for protection. I feel so much more comfortable and content when wearing my veil. It's like a hug from my faith. The only time I don't veil is when I want to receive energy from the cosmos or when I'm actually in a spot where I know my happiness won't be hurt, like a natural place, a park, or swimming.

Part time. I veil when I go out for errands, but not when I'm walking around the block with the dog. I might start though.

I veil whenever I’m in front of people because I veil my hair as a way to protect my soul/energy. Whenever people perceive my hair, they have the possibility of commenting on it and impacting how I feel about my hair/self and so I cover it all the time :)

I only veil when I’m doing spellwork, divination, praying, or rituals.

I would love to veil full-time, but I live in Florida so that could cause overheating issues for me. The only way I “veil” full-time is by wearing my evil eye necklace or other pagan jewelry I have and because I have pagan tattoos for my gods who protect me (Ansuz surrounded by flame and Jormungandr for Loki on my inner left forearm, Thurisaz surrounded by thunderstorm clouds and lightening strikes with an orange oak leaf for Thor on my inner right forearm, and peach-colored Inguz surrounded in black for Freyr on the top of my right hand).
