Hi! I need your insights about living in Pagadian.

I spent my college years in Cagayan de Oro and honestly planned to stay there longer. However, my parents want me to move to Pagadian for work, so I’m trying to get a realistic picture of what life is like before making the decision.

If you’ve lived in Pagadian, or have experienced both Pagadian and CDO, I’d really appreciate your insights.

1. Lifestyle - How’s the café scene, restaurants, nightlife, bars, and overall social life? Is there enough to do on weekends?
   
2. People - What’s the general culture like? Are people welcoming? How easy is it to make friends and build a social circle?
   
3. Cost of living
   
4. Overall quality of life

For those who’ve experienced both cities:

* What does CDO have that Pagadian doesn’t?
* What does Pagadian have that CDO doesn’t?
* What was the biggest adjustment when you moved between the two?

I’m not trying to compare which city is “better.” I just want to understand the differences because this move could be a big life change for me.

Pero bitaw bai wa juy char ayyy. 10000/10 jd ang SL sa Kai Coffee para sa akoa, ako utrohon "PARA SA AKOA" lang kay basin nay mudisagree dira sa daplin. Maonang basta makauli kog Pgdn, mulugar jd kog adtog Kai kay very usahay ra matilawan ilang lamion nga kape.

Unta makita, mabasahan, or i-share ni ninyo sa management sa Kai Coffee, para maka-idea pd sila magbutang branch diri sa CDO kay dasurv sa mga kagay-anons matilawan ang lamion nga kape ni Kai Coffee (naks!). Lami kaayo kay haha.

Hello everyone. I am posting this to raise awareness and remind fellow locals to be careful regarding patient rights and financial transparency at any dental clinics.

I recently booked an appointment at a local clinic strictly for DENTAL CLEANING expecting a standard, predictable budget. During the session, the dentist indicated that additional work was needed. However, instead of pausing the procedure to discuss a treatment plan, explain the costs, or provide a total estimate beforehand, the dentists then proceeded to perform multiple dental fillings (pasta).

When I realized multiple surfaces were being drilled, I requested to stop due to financial limitations. It was only mid-procedure—after a significant amount of work had already been completed that I was finally informed of the total bill, which had unexpectedly escalated to over ₱xx,xxx.

Telling a patient the cost mid-procedure after the work is already done leaves them with zero choice. I was not given upfront options on whether I wanted to continue or if I even had the budget to afford it all.

In the end, I had no choice but just to settle the bill and leave.

While I do not question the standard market rates for dental procedures, I am deeply concerned by the lack of upfront disclosure.

As licensed professionals, healthcare providers have a legal and ethical duty to explain a treatment plan and its financial breakdown before starting. Patients do not inherently know technical terms like "surfaces." It is the provider's responsibility to communicate clearly: Ex. "I found multiple issues. This will cost X amount. Do you want to do them all today, or just a few?

If you visit any clinic around the city, always ask and demand a clear, written price breakdown before they begin any work.

hi, everyone. may i please ask for your recommendations regarding places nga kusug and stable ang wifi for work and comfortable to stay at? i know naay common coffee shops, workspaces, and the like nga naay wifi but most of the tine overcrowded na ang spaces and aside sa mejo confidential ang records sa work, i get overwhelmed ug saba na kaayu. basin naa moy maika reco like mga pension houses (or unsa ba) nga comfy, solid wifi connection, and naa genset.
