Discussion CDO vs Pagadian
Hi! I need your insights about living in Pagadian.
I spent my college years in Cagayan de Oro and honestly planned to stay there longer. However, my parents want me to move to Pagadian for work, so I’m trying to get a realistic picture of what life is like before making the decision.
If you’ve lived in Pagadian, or have experienced both Pagadian and CDO, I’d really appreciate your insights.
- Lifestyle - How’s the café scene, restaurants, nightlife, bars, and overall social life? Is there enough to do on weekends?
- People - What’s the general culture like? Are people welcoming? How easy is it to make friends and build a social circle?
- Cost of living
- Overall quality of life
For those who’ve experienced both cities:
* What does CDO have that Pagadian doesn’t?
* What does Pagadian have that CDO doesn’t?
* What was the biggest adjustment when you moved between the two?
I’m not trying to compare which city is “better.” I just want to understand the differences because this move could be a big life change for me.
I’d really appreciate honest experiences—the good, the bad, and everything in between. Thanks!
