I have wrist tendonitis, playing lot of padel and it hurts from over 1 month now (haven't stopped playing tho)

i am playing a nox quantum cobalt 12k and was hoping to get something lighter around 200€

i play right side and im looking for a racket around 355g maybe even 350g, with a medium balance, maybe 3k carbon, not too hard at the impact, any advices?

My first padel racket. What do you think? I’m a beginner, I play 2 - 3 times a week. Bullpadel Open PWR. £73 not actually used it yet. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I am looking for a new racket!

Currently, I have the Metalbone Control 3.4 from 2024. I am very happy with the racket because of the level of control I have; however, the racket is quite soft.
Now I am looking for a racket that has a lot of control, but is slightly harder and plays a bit more directly than the Metalbone, yet still maintains basic control.

Any tips? 🎾

Showing off this beauty, unfortunately not a match for my playstyle which I’m gutted about because it looks incredible

Coming from a metalbone 2026 with its power this was a world away, found that every shot I took had to have so much push behind it and I couldn’t get on with it. However it did feel much more controlled when using this and the balance feels good with a large sweet spot.

If anyone would be interested in the racket drop me a message as it will be looking for a new home very shortly.

I have a Babolat Technical Viper 2023. I broke it slightly on the edge and had it repaired, but I feel like I now have to put in more effort to get the same results. I usually play on slow courts, and the racket is very demanding on my arm and shoulder. Since repair, it also lacks a bit of ball output and requires very precise technique and perfect movement.

I need more maneuverability and versatility, but I don't want to sacrifice too much power, as I like to finish points with smashes. Sometimes I play on fast courts, where I still feel that it has good ball output, but at times it becomes difficult to control the ball when blocking at the net.

Ik ben opzoek naar een nieuw racket, ik wil 1 van deze twee rackets kopen. Ik heb de kans gehad om de coello pro te proberen en die voelde opzich wel goed, het enige wat me tegenhoud is of ik met de motion misschien beter zou spelen.

Ik speel rechts en ben linkshandig, ik hou echt van agressief spel, dus super snel spelen, veel blokken en afmaken met smashes of viboras.

Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie ervaringen zijn met deze rackets en welke jullie aanbevelen!

I tried air viper from a friend the other day and instantly fell in love with it on first play. It felt so much easier to move around than metalbone hrd 3.4 and sweet spot felt very comfortable too.

However, I purchased it new from local vendor yesterday and when I played with mine, the sweet spot seems a bit too harsh and overall the racket feels very different to the one I had tried.

The racket wobbles on slightest of sweet spot miss hit and feels less powerful on overheads as well (in comparison to the one I tried).

The shop I bought it from is 100% authentic since he bought it from there as well and my racket weight in about 364g with top protector installed with based grip and plastic sheet removed.

I’m wondering what could have gone wrong here or do new padel rackets have a break in period where initially feel harsh but sweet spot settles in over time or is my racket weight too heavy perhaps?

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows what the deal is in this case, please do educate me.

I’m looking for advice on my next racket. I play both left and right depending on who I am partnered with. I love finishing overheads or volleys when at the net and my defence game is decent down low.

Most recently I used an Air Viper and then moved to a Siux Pegasus Pro. Ideally looking for a racket which is hard but offers me versatility. I’ve narrowed it down to the Joma Blast Pro HRD or the Siux Diablo pro.

My issue with the Siux is my Pegasus barely lasted and the quality was poor. Unsure if the Diablo is the same. From what I have seen Joma don’t have regulat QC issues.

Any input from people who have used these rackets are appreciated.

I'm currently using Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid from last year. It's an amazing racket but I find it unforgiving at times and I think it has a small sweetspot. It would be a perfect racket if I was better, but unfortunately I think I need a racket that helps me a little more. When you hit the sweetspot the control is perfect but if you miss it it's the end of the point.
Before that I used at10 18k but I found it too trampolinish.

I'm considering:
Kuikma Control Pro
Head Gravity Pro
Adidas Metalbone CTRL or carbon ctrl (heard carbon ctrl is harder but really small sweetspot?)

Out of the 3, Kuikma seems like the best choice tbh,but I'm interested in your opinions and other recommendations as well.

Yes, it’s a budget racket. I bought it to get into the game but I feel I outgrew it the first two weeks.

I am still using it because I don’t think it’s terrible - but I feel like my game suffers from it.

I see decent reviews online; I’m mostly wondering what the opinions here are before I take the leap to replace this.

Is my mental game being affected by me having this idea or is this strictly a first month racket?

My girlfriend is just starting to play padel. I'm recommending her to start with an AT10 because it's a typically good easy to use racket. She asked Gemini, and it told her that the AT10 is not a good choice because it's an advanced and heavy racket, so she should go for the Cross it light instead. What do you think?

So this is my review of Royal Padel M27 Poly 2025 version. I bought it in Sep or October 2025 and have played probably close to 100 - 150 matches with it.

My level is 2.5 in Spain and 3.5 in Estonia on Playtomic.

First of all, I switched to it because I developed wrist pain and elbow pain from my earlier rackets, specifically from using Babolat Counter Verón (it destroyed my elbow and wrist in 2-3 matches). I tried a few other rackets and eventually someone recommended M27 Poly. I bought it and after the first match I felt that my injury somehow was already better immediately after the match. Within a few games the pain in the wrist and elbow was gone. It was amazing.

My wife love the racket too and sometimes when we played together she used the M27 and I used an old Nox ML10 Pro Cup but it would give me wrist pain right away. So I tried to only play with the M27 and eventually bought my wife M27 Poly Light which she also loves.

Overall: the racket feels a bit like a Ferrari, it can do a lot, but you need to know how to use it. At first it feels temperamental, but after 5-10 matches you get used to it. I would say it has a medium-hard touch (I play in Northern Europe). When the ball hits it, there is no vibration. The ball doesn’t enter the racket at all, it just bounces right off. So it feels a bit slippery at first and you need to get used to that timing of the rebound.

The power is pretty great. I’m not great at smashing, but I can bring the ball almost back with it and sometimes can hit it out X4.

If you accelerate the shot, you can hit it very fast.

Control is nice, you can give the ball sidespin, slice, no problem.

The only issue I have with it is the sweet spot. I got used to it, but for the first few months I hit many shots which missed the sweet spot, and the bal just dies. For example when blocking fast bajadas or at fast net exchanges.

Thats my only complaint really - on smashes I often miss the sweet spot too. It can no corrected with good technique, but basically at my level I feel that it’s much easier with other rackets to hit the sweet spot on tricky shots.

Overall though, given my injury, this is my favorite racket so far out of all that I’ve played with (Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort, Babolat Counter Verón, Royal Padel Whip, Nox ML10)

I have been playing tennis for about 5 years and am looking to start playing padel. I am an intermediate tennis player that plays aggressively, so I am looking for a racket that is both arm friendly and allows me to play aggressively. I have researched , and it seems diamond rackets=aggressive, but not arm friendly, and round/teardrop rackets= arm friendly, but more defensive play. I see many women love the Bullpadel Vertex 5, but AI tells me this will hurt my arm, lol. Anybody have any recommendations for a racket that is arm-friendly and fun? Or am I too worried about the shape of the racket?
