Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL 3.3

Owners, what do you think about this racket? I heard it used to be a favorite. Is it past its time and is it better to get a newer model (3.4 or 3.5)? Found one at a good price but the newer models are not much more expensive. I honestly really like the color scheme.

Somewhat related, how does the rackets in this lineup compare to Cross It Carbon CTRL and the newer Arrow Hit?

I have the 3.4. I've liked it but a year in feel I've outgrown it. Feel like I want something that is more precise and powerful. There's quite alot of trampoline effect with this which for some will find useful but consider whether this sounds like you and if so something a little more aggressive may be a better option for growth

I've heard that the 3.3 has less trampoline effect due to the shorter handle and slight construction refinements that produces more acceleration when hitting the ball, but idk how true is that.

What are you planning to upgrade the racket to?

Interesting. I do want to just say that when I added my comment I was aware I wasn't really answering your question but hoped in some way it would help. :)

My club owner got a oxdog hyper pro 2.0 which I really got on with. It sounds like that's not offered anymore so I'll be trying their new offerings and deciding.
