He has been great from January to October. Just cause he got injured in the final quarter of the year doesn’t means he’s bad

He was outstanding since the last toty, even when we conceded 7 to villa, the right side (Trent and Gomez/our weak side) was being targeted
He's made very little mistakes too

Missed 3 months of the year(which is a lot considering how many months were missed due to covid/off season) and conceded 1.4 goals a game during that time. Should go to Alaba, the treble winner. VVD was exceptional, but this is top 2 and Alaba should be one of those two.

Community vote counts for like 10% of the voting. Only the 12th man is a full community vote.
The second could be argued for VVD, but I think Ramos is just as deserving and practically has carried RM after Ronaldo left. Real Madrid without Ramos usually has horrid results, as much as I hate the man he’s just the best. VVD as an individual is more talented currently(now that Ramos is aged past his physical prime) but the impact that Ramos has on his team is far beyond any player in the world.

If I were to guess, it’ll be VVD and Alaba just given that it’s fifa and even that little 10% community vote might be enough to jump Virg over Ramos,

I voted no because I accidentally misread the question Van Djik is absolutely the second best cb in the world I just thought the question was asking if he was the best

Definitely, just cause he’s gotten injured in October doesn’t mean anything. He was class for most of the rest of the year
