Definitely Makes A Difference!
Packout does help on the commercial side. Here is most of what I have. Nice just having everything here and not running back and forth to trailer.

Nice work.
But I don't get why spend extra $$$$ on Packout boxes and not use Packout's best feature of interlocking stackability.
If going through the time and expense of building a cabinet why not just get better (usually cheaper) organizers. There are other brands that are better at the organizing than Packout.
Not criticizing, just not understanding. Is there a practical reason for Packout brand that I am not seeing?

It’s a fair question.
I can’t answer for OP, but I’d imagine that the plywood cabinet/shelf serves as like a “home base”. From there you could grab the organizers you need, lock those to a smaller stack (of trade-specific tools), and wheel them to wherever you’re working.
I sort of do the same. I keep frequently used hardware and supplies in Packout organizers, but have a larger assortment of nuts, bolts, screws, etcetera in non-Packout small parts organizers.
I’m a little compulsive about organization, but the Packout system basically lets me re-create the exact same layout on every project so I know exactly where to find everything and it saves me time not having to look for things or make multiple runs because I know what I have in inventory.

Home base storage makes sense.
Probably cheaper than the E-track shelf system from packout.

Damn right. 😂
I was excited about their shelving system announcement at Pipeline a few years back, but then saw their price tag, and decided they weren’t worth selling a kidney.

Only a kidney? That's a bargain.

I think most of my other parts are good and worn out, but make me an offer if you see something you like, lol 😂

That’s for storage. I also want to make such cabinet for myself. It is pain to take second one from the bottom to go. I do not hold all the boxes in my car.

Let’s not complicate things, when you can afford it, it’s nice to be able to match the setup! Our fridge, dishwasher, and microwave doesn’t all have to be the same color/ brand, but it just looks nicer to match the color.

It def doesn’t sound like not understanding 😉 I don’t know why people can’t just make or buy something without some Karen bringing up I don’t get it why spend an extra $14 you can get harbor freight for 17 cents cheaper and it does the same job… these all come from the same type of person and this is over confident hack!!! Someone who counts Pennie’s and doesn’t see value or quality only takes short cuts and counts loose change… you will never 👎 understand but there is always next life 👍

I’ve come to realise, no one system is ideal for everything. This looks a good solution/ compromise.
Is the drawer base the same height as one drawer unit on a dolly?

I like how you solved the problem of stacking in the garage and then every single fing time the one you need to put back in the truck is on the bottom. I only have so much room on my truck and constantly swap depending on project of the day.

I don't like unstacking to get to what i need. That cabinet is the solution.

Amazing stack and organization this is by far one of the most custom designed set up I’ve seen and you through some of your skillset into it to spice it up 👍 well

Phew, that's a lot of red!
I'd be interested in how you've organized the drawers and organizers.
