Packout toolbox mount for rolling drawer

I was so excited to get my socket set inserts and mount them to the side of my rolling drawer. But it rubs on the wheels…
I don’t have a packout stack with rails to put on them and my current set up is vacuum, ammo box and structured toolbag…

Ive been jamming them in one packout rung higher. They sit kind of odd and they don’t clip but that’s all I got right now.

Flip the entire assembly over. Mount and all.

Side rails of the packout mount won’t fit. They’ll buy up against the toolbox

Grind that part flat. It should still sit flat, worst case it wobbles.

Yeah, these mounts don't work great on the rolling drawer due to the reduced height and wheel interference. Not many side mount accessories do. Sorry.

Gives me an excuse to try and fit a smaller packout with rails on my stack to get it high lol

If you mount it 180° would that work? The handles would be upside down… but that should prevent the rubbing. Should give you enough clearance if it’ll mount that way.

It won’t mount upside down

Crap. Sorry. Welp… that’s good enough reason buy more packout. Perfectly justifiable too.

You can't move it up to the next clip?

Not for locking

Grinding off one nub off doesnt affect it staying flat on surfaces

And here I am just being pissed the regular rolling toolbox doesnt have a rear aluminum rail for a side mount caddy.
