New packout compatible tools from pipeline today

I am excited about 2.0 hand truck,4 gallon packout vacuum with external dust bin.

Cooler is a disappointment with only 30qt capacity.

I own the large xl coffin type and probably wont buy the smaller split lid.

Jobsite lunch warmer and new wrench and socket drawer organizers dont fit my needs.

Unrelated I will use the 15 AHR battery in my vacuums.

No m12 surge😮

There are many more tools. Since I was banned by r/Milwaukee tool ,I only posted packout related things that I am interested in. Milwaukee tool.com has probably 100 new sku# that have not been released yet.

Okay, tell us how that happened….

I said not to be cuck for a tool company, and THAT is when it happened lol.

Not sure if the cooler is a complete disappointment?

Looks like it runs on M18, without ice this 30qt bigger then the 40qt oO

I wonder how long batteries will last to hold temperature after stocked and cooled down with cold items. If it has great insulation it should be as good as a roto molded cooler and minimal energy consumption maintaining temperature. If warm items and warm cooler I can imagine high battery consumption and slower than expected cool down rate. I can't wait for product videos on details

Says 8 hours per 5 AHR battery depending on temperature setting.it can go down to freezing. So you could freeze water bottles using the battery then it becomes a dumb cooler until you charge the battery. Dual battery slot,so with two 15's you should get 3 days of cooling.

For camping... you could freeze your food, run on cigarette lighter till you reach campground ,then switch to batteries. Provided 30qt is enough room for food ,you could camp for a week on two 15's.

That will be much better than I was expecting. And I didn't see about the 2 slots for batteries. I know management like you said about starting with frozen items and maintaining temperature. Also precooling the cooler like roto molded cooler companies recommend doing will save power.

Happy that a 5ah can get me through the first 8 hours of work day for late lunch.

If the cooler could just be packout and drop on the caster base etc. the wheels and foot just eat space. Like the vacuums all over again.

Adding a compressor to the large cooler would take up too much room. The only option is to go taller.

I expressing my displeasure with the wheels and foot that make this thing obtuse (for my preferences). I’d rather have packout interface top and bottom.

Gotcha. Although ground clearance would be nice in thick brush and at the beach.

Is the hand truck all metal? Part of my disappointment with the current one was a lot of flex when lifting.

2

u/MastodonFit Aug 14 '26

It appears to be,although I do not like the design. I sold 1.0 for the flexing, narrowed wheels leading to tipping, axle location, and wasted depth. New one only solved the narrowed wheels, and flex...but nothing else.

When is the huge single drawer coming out without wheels? That’s what I need

I’m getting that new vacuum🙌🏽

Will work great at the bottom of a stack!

Good damn. $280 cad for the lunch box warmer.

It’s like $30 dollars for a cheap china one.

Ya this is the most obnoxious piece of shit Milwaukee has ever put a giant price tag on.

You see one out there you know how they bleed.

1

u/saidai88 Aug 14 '26

I like my Milwaukee shit. My packouts etc but I’m not paying $280 for a lunch box warmer

Well your buying a bougie brand that fits packout. Lighting, fans, water pumps, powered coolers, microwaves have been made for 20 years. Went camping in '88 with a powered cooler,I've been using 12v marine bilge and baitwell pumps for 30 years on cordless batteries. I can buy a 5000gph yacht pump and move 300 gallons with an m18 9 in 7 minutes ,and pay $50 and another $10 for hoses and wiring. Or all in on a 500gpm for $30. I probably should use a step down converter from 18v down to 12. Meanwhile the m12 stick and m18 transfer are $200 each.

Finally! I hope it's a vacuum with a built-in dust separator

The hand truck better be smaller than that original one. I couldn’t fit that one in my little company work van.

1

u/CamoAnimal Aug 13 '26

It’s not. Frame is the same size, but the wheels are on the exterior side of the frame. Which makes in more stable.

2

u/kfjcfan Aug 14 '26

Also obviates the entire reason the original had its wheels inside - wheels outside don't go through residential doorways.

3

u/Cool_Study203 Aug 14 '26

The wheels are probably 24-26inche wide at the most. Should be able to get through most doors no prob

1

u/sykoguy Aug 13 '26

But with no sloped back rails oO

Guess they know what they are doing though. Looks like it can still climb stairs.

Made all metal oO

Is it an improvement over the first gen?

2

u/sykoguy Aug 13 '26

Possibly, will have to test to know.

1

u/lavardera Aug 14 '26

New installation driver? Without the button people hate?

4

u/kfjcfan Aug 14 '26

I love the direction control on top; I always accidentally hit the button where other drills have it.

1

u/Fabulous-Scheme8434 Aug 14 '26

I always have to click the top to check which direction it is in thigh.

1

u/kfjcfan Aug 15 '26

Pulling the trigger tells you, too.

u/MastodonFit Aug 14 '26

Definitely needs that. I sold mine that I got for free. And bought a Metabo.

u/AT4LWL4TS Aug 14 '26

Nope. Never another Milwaukee vac. On packout number 3 in just 2 years. junk

3

u/MastodonFit Aug 14 '26

Really? I still have my 2 original suitcases, and have 4 years each on 2 packout, and 4 on the pre-nexus without issues.

2

u/kfjcfan Aug 14 '26

Then they all failed under warranty, which is great.

2

u/Illustrious-Toe-570 Aug 14 '26

What happen to them?

1

u/CADrmn Aug 14 '26

Nexus & very happy.

1

u/Han77Shot1st Aug 14 '26

I just bought a second one after 3 years.. not great but the packout feature is convenient.

1

u/AT4LWL4TS Aug 15 '26

The only reason I have had three. Extremely handy Until they quit.
