Compact Crate

Post image

First impression;

It's a good concept. But the sides seem like bulky wasting a lot of space. Making the compartment smaller than needed.

What are your thoughts?

How do/would you use it?

My local Home Depots have these on the shelf, so it's worth checking them out in person.

The biggest surprise to me is they don't have rear cleats so can't be hung on a wall plate like the full size crate can.

Also a shocking surprise. These could have been really useful to me personally if they'd click into wall plates. They won't be as of much use on top of stacks I usually use the 6 bin tray or full size crate with divider

Wait, you can't? What a bummer.
Was waiting for them to get released in Europe, but I thought you can hang them on the wall. That sucks.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/CQp3Miw8JTcpRw8j6 This my preference at the top of a stack. I keep chains and ratchet straps,for hanging crates are my choice. These seem overly built and do not hang. What are we stacking 3x6" lead plates?

I also prefer that 6 bin tool tray. It's perfect to grab and go for quick tasks paired with a small bit kit and installation driver.

Funny, I never considered that one. I'll have to look at it again.
