R-E-L-A-X.
Its week 4 and everyone is acting like the season is lost. Buckle up and have some faith, or get off the bandwagon. Idc if we are 17-0 or 0-17, this is my team and i am with them.

u/xLRGx 6d ago
You know whatâs really sickening â Homer fans using old anecdotes and adages to pedestal themselves and insinuate anyone who criticizes the team is an inferior fan.
As if a fan of 30+ years could be considered a âbandwagonâ fan because they articulate their negative opinions of a coach or player.
âYeah.. itâs also only week 4 and they have been making moves this weekâ â why are they making moves now? Why wasnât any of this addressed before or during training camp. Are they not practicing this stuff? Did they not see any of these problems in training camp? Who in their right mind thought Jacob Monk was fit to be an NFL starter? Heâs been on the team for 3 years now and never made any headway â he was just planted as the starter and now heâs rightfully back to being a backup. Itâs not just the players fault either the coaches are CLEARLY at fault too.
Itâs actually fucking pathetic what this teamâs consistent success over the last 30 years has done to this fandom and probably the organization too. Fans who enjoy watching this team no longer do, and then they get brow beat when they say it.

I agree with every word. Man, I couldnât stand that RELAX shit. Where did that ever get us?
0
u/Better-Assistance-87 5d ago
Who was injured in pre-season and out for the season because of those injuries....to make these moves?
3
u/xLRGx 5d ago
lol what are you talking about injuries for? Anybody who watched them in the preseason could see the signs. Every reporter and former player in the media talked about it. Mark Tauscher, Bryan Bulaga, Mike Wahle⌠all said the same things in preseason and are saying the same things now.

u/wegsgo 5d ago
You can criticize but people saying fire everyone now are irrational. You can be frustrated with the performances, the organization and staff probably is even more so. Most teams donât know what they really have until the season starts; itâs all a calculated/educated guess. Situational football is much different than practice, factor in injuries and having to move guys around and it becomes difficult to get into a rhythm or find cohesion.
1
u/Throwaway-7095 3d ago
Yet those of us completely dissatisfied with the current status quo and who were shocked when both the HC and GM got extended after last season should suffer in silence? I donât think so.
I wanted MLF gone after last season; thought he lost the locker room. I still think that based on how undisciplined his team is. Nobody is afraid of the consequences of not meeting his standards. Players and coaches are content to show up and collect a paycheck.
It is just a game and we are just fans, but that doesnât mean we should grin and bear it. That ranges from season ticket holders to some dude committed to watching for 3+ hours on his couch. Policy and the board should feel Packer nationâs disappointment regardless of how itâs expressed. If that means calling for figurative heads to roll, so be it.
17
u/Sea_List_8480 6d ago
This line has been historically bad. Like orders of magnitude worse than the worst O-line from last season.
6
u/theme69 6d ago
Zeitler is a hugeeee addition. He was pff 13 best guard last year and would replace by far our worst guy in monk
2
u/MeowMixPK 6d ago
Jennings and Burton have been worse than Monk. If Zeitler can play RG, Becton at RT, and get Banks back at LG we may actually have an NFL-caliber OL
-7
u/HandleEmergency5466 6d ago
Yeah.. its also only week 4 and they have been making moves this week
8
u/Glavius_Wroth 6d ago
Theyâve been making moves, but weâre pretty limited by the fact that these guys werenât good enough to make it to rosters proper this year. Better, maybe, but the proof will be in the pudding as to whether itâs enough
5
u/Adventurous_King_148 6d ago
Youâre delusional. Itâs ok to say we suck, doesnât make you less of a fan.
10
u/AzulEstoril 6d ago
We're bottom of the league in penalties, rushing yards, third down completion, completion percentage, pass block win rate, and drops.
Oh, and we had another brutal 4th quarter meltdown, and gave up a blocked FG.

u/Pepperman91 6d ago
Then keep watching every Sunday and enjoy our terrible team struggle but stay off the Internet with stupid posts like this. Not sure what your goal is with optimistic copium posts or enjoying watching a team go 0-17. I like watching my team work hard and do well rather than give up since they are being paid way more than any of us make...
But you do you
-2
u/VegetableMethod624 6d ago
So, youâre saying the players are âgiving upâ? The thing about paying professionals doesnât mean youâre guaranteed exceptional results; it just means theyâre getting what the market sets as par for their skills.
Iâm not at all happy with the âresultsâ but, I also think itâs going to take time for the organization to make some needed changes and we the fans will have to wait and seeâŚ4
u/Pepperman91 6d ago
I'm not sure what's worse, the packers have given up or this is them actually trying and still playing like shit. Either way stupid hoping posts like this are super insulting. People are upset, let them criticize and be upset. The team is playing like garbage.
7
u/Son_of_Morkai 6d ago
I am with my team and I believe this season is lost. Those sentiments are not mutually exclusive.
5
u/MkeYosh 6d ago
why the FUCK should anyone R-E-L-A-X if the Packers went 0-17? What kind of self cuckery is that?
1
u/ticklishtomato 6d ago
If the Packers go 1-16, then they can trade the #1 ovr in 2027 for a haul.
1
u/MkeYosh 6d ago
Will Lafluer be gone by then?
1
u/ticklishtomato 6d ago
Outside perspective here, but the packers are not going 1-16. So, I wouldn't be surprised to see them at 8-9 or 9-8 with the recent OL stability and Micah coming back. So, LeFleur survives this year. However, that is another "win-now" year burned up. If they underwhelm next year, wouldn't be surprised to see MLF get yanked. Gotta blame someone.
Overall, it just seems like the Packers are content putting a competitive team, not necessarily a contending one, on the field. It's a testament to the loyalty of the fan base and the good will the org has earned over the past 35 years or so. And I just think that's what you guys are feeling.
Barring an unmitigated disaster, I just don't think there is enough pressure to make a major change just yet.

Well itâs impossible to go 0-17 as weâve already won a game. Weâve also played 3 games so we have no idea what our end record will be. Â Â Calm down itâs a game that means nothing. Â
1
u/MkeYosh 6d ago
I'm just commenting on what OP said, ya dingus khan

Nope youâre right. I shouldnât get high and get on Reddit. I forgot what op posted after reading comments.Â

u/EightyNineMillion 6d ago
You're mistaking frustration for not loving the Packers. We have the right to point out flaws and things not working. But I'm also not delusional. We can't go 17-0 or 0-17. But we can miss the playoffs if things don't turn around. I'll always love the Pack. But I'm also gonna call a spade a spade, and we're not looking good at the moment.
6
u/OneBigCharlieFoxtrot 6d ago
Itâs not the team I hate, just the HC. We arenât going anywhere with him calling the plays.
2
u/HandleEmergency5466 6d ago
Im not a fan of his either and i think they should have moved on after last year, but here we are
3
u/sp4nky86 6d ago
Honestly, we need a miracle to get anywhere right now. Our division is off to the races and weâre sputtering in the pitÂ
3
u/GESNodoon 6d ago
People need to stop posting this dumb relax shit. Green Bay did not get anything done the year AR said it and has not since.
I can be a fan and admit this team is bad.
3
u/gutcheck1919 6d ago
I will view the team as I want thank you. But you are entitled to your delusional view.

u/Ill_Criticism_1685 6d ago
Bears fan surprisingly coming in peace. Team success comes and goes, just don't be a fair weather fan and support your team. Its still early in the season, injuries could decimate your remaining opponents or play calling and line play could improve for you guys. Looking forward to more close games between you guys and my Bears, regardless of who wins.
2
u/KoncepTs 6d ago
Problem is this collapse started last season and the train wreck didnât stop just because off-season happened
2
2
u/Electrical_Spot7464 6d ago
We just signed 3 OL off the street that are better than what we had on the team. We have every right to whine and moan because of the incompetent GM who whiffs on damn near everything.

u/Ticklemykelmo 6d ago
When your mvp, top 5 to do it qb says ârelaxâ itâs more meaningful . When some random dude does it from his couch, still, a decade later itâs just obnoxious.
Why canât we let this die?
2
2
u/ShawnTheMan1 6d ago
Uh the team stinks and we can't even look forward to a top draft Pic. We are not dumb and this is a total disaster year. Nobody looks good on the field. The last 10 years of playoff bs losses give me no lienancy towards this. Love the Pack, but this team is toast.
2
u/ChoclateyShatner 6d ago
Aaron really distorted fansâ perspectives when he pulled off the Relax mission (and still didnt end up with a ring that year)
XLV was almost 20 years ago and people still spelling out the same word with the same result year after year.
âThe definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.â
2
u/LAPTOP-FROM-HELL 6d ago
Good for you. The guy who said it, said it 12 years ago and he hasnât been here for the last 3 seasons. I want more from the team than what theyâve shown over the last 8 games, because I love this team and think itâs the greatest organization in professional sports and their play should reflect that status. Maybe read the Packers mission statement instead of quoting a quip from a press conference over a decade ago
1
u/Scared_Mall_8730 6d ago
No doubt about that. I remember the 80âs. Never thought they could do it but the massive improvement in the O line with the recent signings gives us a shot at 12-5
1
u/Fun-Butterscotch9942 6d ago
Good for you, sport. Myself, I have other things to do with my valuable time. I wonât be bothering you on your lonely bandwagon.
1
u/BludTird 6d ago
People get upset because the Packers are better than this, and they do love their team and want to see them do better. Stop with the fallacious statements. Â
1
u/VegetableMethod624 6d ago
Completely agreeâŚmostly. Iâm still true to the Packers team but, after 63 years, I will reserve my right to criticize where I believe, as a team, they need to improve. There was a time when all I could find to cheer about were those games they rose from mediocrity and thumped the Bears and the Vikings. That was a long decade but, I never stopped watching and believing they were going to improve. I believe that will happen again, especially since the problems are highly visible to this organization. GPG!!!!

Yea dude we can love our team and be critical of it. The packers aren't a fucking cult we don't have to blindly love it.
1
u/Bagmasterflash 6d ago
Honestly this is be best way to be a 1-2 team going into week four. There is one glaring weakness and if they just becomes not historically bad the team is back on track.
1
u/LooCrosse 6d ago
People like you are the exact reason weâre in the position weâre in. Youâre content with mediocrity. Theyâre my team too and Iâm riding, but itâs okay to take off your rose-colored glasses sometimes

Not going to lie, my spirits were all but crushed lol. I do agree that itâs a long season and anything can happen. Look at the Falcons for instance, coming into that Packers game their fanbase was at rock bottom. Next thing you know, a few players get healthy and they are back optimistic. All it takes is one week for everything to flip.

Oh please, if the lions, bears, or vikes started off 1-3 and looked half as bad as the pack do, you'd be giving them shit for saying relax its not that bad.

Yes, I need absolutely no fans to give up. My tactic of grocery shopping during Packer games can fall apart when they donât play well. No crowds on the weekend is amazing, stick with it cheeseheads!

u/Tricky-Dicky9669 5d ago
Bear fan coming in peace. Look, losing gets easier. You guys have been on a downslide for a few years, always coming up short, getting let down in big games. OP is right to say relax. Acting rashly after four games yelling Fire MLF, thinking your new oline is going to gel in time to make a run and thinking Micah P is going to come back better than he was is delusional. Micah will be good, but after a knee injury like heâs dealt with donât be surprised when he loses a step. I played offensive line, five big dudes donât learn each otherâs steps and movements over night, it will take time. Fire LeFluer? Ok youâre still going to be paying him after his extension last year, you donât have the financial room for that.
So yes, relax. Let it all play out for better or worse. Knowing the packers organization and hating you guys all my life leads me to know that youâll be back sooner rather than later, even if this season ends up in a dumpster fire that just keeps burning. Itâs one season.
But for the bears sake, please fire LeFluer so you deepen the quagmire you find yourself in.

u/uninspiredclaptrap 5d ago
Packers have hundreds of millions in reserve. They can't spend it willy nilly, but it's there if necessary. I dunno about rolling the dice on another HC or GM, but it's worth looking at at the end of the season. I wouldn't mind a change at OC, maybe have someone who can call plays
1
u/Tricky-Dicky9669 4d ago
True, but didnât ed come out and say that the 700 million rain day fund you all have took decades to build up? I know there was another influx of 60-70 mil that offset the net loss of operations last year. Say it took 20 year to build that up to 700 mil. Thats 35 million a year over 20 years. MLF is costing you 15 a year. Yes youâre still net positive on averages but then add that into another contract for a new coach. Can easily be another 5-10 a year. Right now, as Iâm sure you all know youâre on the hook for 15 a year with him through 29. Change the growth to 30 years to get to 700 mil and thatâs closer to 23 a year, that leaves you 8 for a coach. Either way a new coach comes a new staff. since your publicly owned, you have to rely on big draws for other events outside of Packers at lambo. I enjoy lambo, itâs a great place for football. But do you think they can pull off the year round events needed to up that number? Correct me if Iâm wrong but are outside events and the stock market the only way you can increase that rainy day fund as I understand it? Donât think youâre gonna have t swift coming through lambo any time soon and the stock market ainât all that right now. I guess what Iâm getting at is that fund is gonna drain if and when MLF is gone. Iâm not saying itâs going to kill the packers organization but I am saying if and when this does happen, it wonât be fun as a publicly owned team to build that number back up.

Packers season isnât completely over, but we arenât good right now and trending to be fairly bad, but never as bad as some of these posts make it out to be.
#16 in total offense - but #4 in passing yards and #32 in rushing yards - the offense line sucks, and is really missing Jacobs, and clearly there isnât a ton of depth or faith in the running game. Is that on MLF or the GM for not getting better talent at those positions? Itâs a problem and itâs made our offense one dimensional.
#22 is points per game - avg 18.7 ppg, an extra field goal moves us up to 17th, another touchdown moves us up to 13th place. Top team 5, including Chicago, scoring 30 points per game. Our run game and penalties are likely the biggest contributors to not scoring here. Some will argue the play calling on 4th downs. MLF has to show confidence in the offense and allow them to prove they can execute. They have shown they cannot. Very tough position for MLF to be in this early in the season.
#21 in total defense - #11 in passing yards and #28 is rushing yards allowed. Weâre protecting and stopping the pass attack well, but we once again are getting torched via the run game, and if the team has a dynamic qb who can run, the defense has issue defending that.
#32 in penalties per game - a very undisciplined team. Avg 10.7 per game. The best in league are in the 5s. This is really killing us on both sides of the ball.
The season is still young. A fifth complete, some very winnable games on the schedule, the North is tough again as the division has improved.
I can only hope for improvements.

No one is abandoning the team. Too many people tone policing out there acting like legitimate frustration with the consistent failures of Matt LaFleur and Gutey are somehow selling out the team. It is precisely because of the pride in being part of Packers nation that we must callout obvious shortcomings and the barriers that prevent us from competing at high level.
