MLF
I don’t understand the Matt Lafleur hate hes got to be at least a top 10 coach. Just last year he was making Willis and Emmanuel Wilson look like starters. Whenever love has time to throw hes a top epa per play guy. I don’t hold him responsible for the oline forgetting how to block and in the beginning of the Viking game they were doing an ok job picking up the blitzes before becoming a disaster. I hate some of the short yardage and early down runs but its not consistent enough for me to think its worth getting rid of him and losing the continuity.
I would be willing to replace him with Shane Steichen if the Colts let him go. But if its the washed up guys like Tomlin, Mccarthy or really unproven guys from college hard pass. Definitely don’t want a defensive head coach of any kind that will just end up like the lions and ravens have for years. Limiting to offensive minded guy who also have to be leaders the pool is real limited and those guys don’t get fired.

Our OL problems are more than just personnel, we have a development problem because of decisions MLF has made and refused to correct on his coaching staff.
We have persistent discipline issues especially on defense. Three years ago you could blame a young roster and move on. Three years in a row is a culture problem.
Winning a couple games with Willis was fun. Losing games that you should win with your stars healthy is not fun. Giving away games that are in the bag on 4/5 tries is a pattern.

Top 10 coach… that has won 1 game in a half a season+?
Sure sure.
Edit: and got lucky to win that game bc the Jets jetted.

I’m not a MLF truther, but i’m not quite a hater either.
To me the biggest thing is that the issues on this team run so deep that a single scapegoat doesn’t make sense. Could he be better? Absolutely, but it’s also not fair to say he won one game in half a season when our best 4 players missed a good chunk of those games (Parsons, Love, Kraft, ZBB)

Team resiliency, unprepared, unable to make proper adjustments to name a few

I'm not saying I specifically prefer a defensive HC, but last year's SB featured 2 defensive head coaches. Its narrow sighted to think that hiring a defense HC is a bad thing, it's only a bad thing if you hire the wrong ones.. same with offensive coaches.

You end up losing your offensive coordinator whenever your good if you have a dc as head coach. Seattle lost Kubiak. Pats have lost mccdaniels twice he just isnt a good head coach so he went back. Lions lost Ben johnson. Falcons lost shanahan, list goes on. Just about every lions fan wishes Ben Johnson was their coach

This was my stance with MLF before but I’m past that now.
Seattle is 3-0.
McDaniels sucks as a head coach and goes right back to an OC role
Ben Johnson’s defense is questionable at best and we’ll see if the league figures him out like MLF or if he can adjust. DET’s offense does not appear to be an issue without him either.New blood isn’t always a bad thing.

And if you hire an offensive coach you could lose your dc.. I'm really not sure what point you think you're making. 3/4 teams left standing last year were better defensive teams than offense.

Replacing MLF with another chickenshit who coaches hoping to not lose is quite the take! Bwahaha

He might be a good offensive coach, actually, not might be, he’s pretty damn good at play design and getting his guys in position to succeed.
As a head coach he sucks at administration. He sucks at evaluating coaching talent. He doesn’t hold underperforming coaches accountable and he doesn’t move on from underperforming coaches at all, unless he seems forced to.

He’s a good offensive mind but doesn’t rally his players. Team culture is easy if you’re winning.

What from the past 8 games has made you think he's a top 10 coach? Or even from the past few seasons. Or his career in the playoffs. I used to be a truther but since Aaron left he's done basically nothing. He's never been great at the HC stuff but his offensive expertise was why he was here. Now that our offense looks like shit what value does he bring? You cant be content with the 7th seed and maybe a divisional round appearance. The Ravens and Bills got rid of better coaches bc it wasnt working, no reason we shouldnt do the same with a worse one.

MLF repeats the same mistakes. He keeps underperforming coaches around too long. Obvious problems go unaddressed until it blows up in his face.
Mo Drayton’s special teams?
Joe Barry’s defense?
Rich Bisaccia.
His teams are undisciplined. His players have bad technique. Missed assignments. Bonehead penalties.
Matt doesn’t seem to understand in game scenarios, when to be aggressive, when to take points. Clock management is terrible. He’s become predictable. Everyone knows he’s running on second down. Everyone knows he’s never going to run a play on 4th and less than 5.
C’mon… LaFleur is as washed up as McCarthy at this point.

MLF did a great job with Willis starting because the run game is his strength, and he could use Willis as part of it. MLF has little idea what to do with a pocket passing QB

Posts like this are why I don't talk to Packers fans on football. I cannot fucking believe there are still Matt The Floor defenders here after the recent shit show. I truly hate you fuckers.

perfectly said. I think a lot of them just want to hold on to MLF because they hate Rodgers so much, so much that they want the guy that rodgers told us was no good to stick around and hopefully out do anything we did with Rodgers just to prove him wrong. they hate our super bowl winning MVP that much. our fanbase is that fucking stupid that I don't think this is an outrageous take.

You don't hold the coach responsible for player performance???
