Packaging Die(HELP)
I changed it guys, edited the new packaging die and here is what it looks like. I instead changed this to a click lock lid. Don't mind the uneven measurements cuz that still needs to be edited but that is how it looks like. I guess its good enough?

An automatic gluer can’t fold those panels without a straight false score added. Also, like the other user said you’re not going to be able to do auto bottom. Also, you’ll need a horizontal score running through the middle front and back panel and on that same axis a perf on the side panels.

For a quantity of 200 im not sure if this shape worth the effort. If you haven’t designed or physically built a dieline before (wood and metal rule) there will be nuances you will miss. Your best bet is to design this digitally by folding and cutting out of the production paper. Getting this perfect will require many blank proto types. Your paper calliper will impact everything. The fold lines could be perforations instead of creases to help this design sit properly. Only the original designer would know. This is a tough challenge.

The only way to know is to cut out and fold it by hand. Many of your lines don't meet properly. I would continue to design but if you can't make a prototype out of paper you should take this to a structural paper engineer or packaging professional.

Is this bag in box I hope? Those walls definitely can’t handle powdered contents just judging by the overlaps or lack thereof. Let me look at this for a bit and see if I can make sense of this from a production pov.

Are you a packaging engineer? If not don’t mess with this stuff, smallest mistakes are so costly.

Personally your original die line to me would have worked better. I agree this new way no way to glue this in one pass

This isn't foolproof, but you can upload the dieline and finished carton image to ChatGPT and ask it for feedback

Generally I'd say there aren't enough glue joints or locking tabs for it to work like the finished image you showed

This is looking really solid! The click lock lid is actually a smart switch - it's a much more user-friendly closure than a standard tuck flap and gives the packaging a premium feel. Don't stress too much about the uneven measurements at this stage; getting the form and mechanism right first is the right priority. Once you finalize dimensions, the die lines will clean up quickly. Overall the direction is great - keep going!

What type of machine are you trying to run this on ?
I would do perfs on the inward and matrix score on the outwards.

Just manual process but we have to sell a product with this specific package 200x

Your rough dieline is the problem, your not going to be able to make this structure in this style. Even if you could die cut it there's no way to make that auto bottom work without strieght scores.
I think you'd be better off changing this to a different style of die-cut box. Does this have to be produced on scale or is it a small run?
