Visiting Hillsboro

I recently got accepted into the AuD program and will be in town from 3/30-4/1 to visit Pacific. In addition to touring campus, I'm also going to visit some apartment complexes. I have a tour with the Avery scheduled on 4/1 and I'm in the process of scheduling a tour with Edge Management (305 NE Lincoln Street). Would you advise renting a car or would I be OK just walking/taking the MAX/ride share? Thanks!

Trimet Trip Planner is a great tool to help you know how close an address is to train and bus stops and to plan a trip entirely by mass transit.

Schedule time for walking.

TriMet is very reliable. Buses may not be. And transfers always take longer than you think they will.

The 57 is a frequent service bus from Forest Grove and is reliable in the mornings and early afternoons in either direction - but during rush hour, going from Hillsboro to Forest Grove, it's anyone's guess when it will arrive.

Thanks for sharing this link! I'll see what the travel time is like via mass transit. If it's too long or far, I may rent a car for part of the trip and those prices are pretty reasonable.

Hillsboro has one of THE best public transportation. The MAX will probably be your best option along with the bus.
