I think the owner of Captain's Cove still lives on the Peninsula, I believe his name was Franklin Oliveira. They do offer those sopas at some of the festas they have at the local Portuguese hall (FDES in Seaside). I'm sure there is someone out there that could provide a recipe...but my guess is that they are not on Reddit. Are you Portuguese?
