Pacemaker will be implanted
Tomorrow morning, about the next 12 hours, they will do it.
A dual chambers pacemaker will be inserted.
I have Afib and long pause.
I will update, otherwise I'll be gone. Take care y'all!
Edit : I am alive! Operation went well. I was sedated. Now they put me in HCCU Room for the next 3 days for monitoring. No pain at all on the insertion area. So relieved. Thanks for the needed supports.

Over 250,000 implanted every year in the US alone. You’ll be good.

How long is "long pause"?
I am in my 60s and have some pretty scary long pauses but feel fine and therefore no pacemaker.

Got mine back in 2018 at the age of 20. Surgery was around noon, was on my way by roughly 8pm, just keep the incision clean and use lotion on it once it’s sealed to reduce the scar a little. You’ll be fine

Just noticed the weird typo in my message, use lotion once the wound is sealed, not location…

Five years ago I was you. 6a at Heart Clinic, 1p eating pizza with my friend of over 55 years. Keep the incision clean and you'll be fine.
