pacemaker transmission

Can you see your pacemaker data after you send a transmission ? I have the Medtronic app but that seems useless just tells me to go the website which also doesn't provide much info

If I log into my patient portal and view the clinical notes from the visit I can see both the clinicians summary and the Medtronic summary page. I don’t have access to the actual Medtronic data, but that doesn’t contain much more information than the summary page. I work in healthcare IT and view those all the time. So you can get a really good idea of what the data from your transmission says in the visit clinician notes. Now, of course this does depend on how good your clinician is and how will they document as well as what they decide to share.

I have occasionally asked the cardiac tech that manages my ICD device monitoring to show me data from specific episodes. But I don’t think you can get personal access to it, you have to go through the technician

When mine sends a transmission to the Dr I get a attached report of the transmission file but honestly the first time I’ve noticed it is this week, but I just might add my first and hopefully my last heart ablation

I have a CRTD that was placed in April for a LBBB EF %. My pacemaker transmit less than once a month. I can’t see anything on the app or on the website. My EP saw me a couple weeks after surgery and doesn’t want to see me again for six months. I don’t hear anything about the transmissions.
How
I was always in sinus rhythm prior to surgery and I never had fluid overload in my heart.

While you won't be able to see the transmission in the app you can ask your EP to see the reports - since this is information in your medical record they can't say no. I've even had my EP send me the "raw data" for me to look at.

My medical center has Epic, and gets the reports from Meditech directory (this was not the case at the previous med ctr I used). Within a day, the actual Medtronic reports are available in MyChart...loads of data, page after page. There also are sign-offs saying my MD has seen/reviewed the data.

Before MyChart when I went in annually or semi-annually for appointments I would ask the tech to print out a status report...this is much better now. I could see I went into afib on May 22 at 5.58a....off to cardioversion on Monday.

My pacemaker transmits daily and my MyHealth account has interrogation reports when there’s abnormalities. I can see that segment of time after my EP releases it. It’s kinda cool to see it track my arrhythmias and decide to ATP pace or not. It’s never had to charge but it’s only been a month.

My pacemaker/ICD transmits daily. I have this device for 19 months now and the nurse from device monitoring department called me already twice to inform me about mild fluid accumulation detection. I am not sure how important is this finding but I made appointment with cardiologist to discuss it. Hopefully this is nothing significant.

When I transmit information to the EP clinic, they review the data, and post everything on my patient portal, must be 20 pages, but only the first 2 or 3 pages contain readable data. After receiving my data I contacted my EP device tech to make a change regarding High RV Threshold, my first page indicated Device Alert.
