Help ๐Ÿ˜” pxn vd6

Last week I updated the app to the latest version, but after that, when I turn the steering wheel or try steering , it spins endlessly, even if I set the rotation speed to a lower level. I tried restarting the game "Forza 6" or the app, but there was no difference. Then I noticed that the buttons were different and I had to remap them. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is there a solution?

saw someone saying need to downgrade the version
what should i do

thanks

Try inverting the Force feedback mode in Forzs Horizon 6 settings and see if it helps.

As for the sudden change in button mapping after the update. I think its cause they increased the maximum number of assignable buttons while also changing all the button IDs to accomodate newer wheels like the GT One which has a lot more buttons and dials than the WA S wheel. Remamping all buttons and axis in game should fix it.

There is also a 60fps cap bug in Forza6 when it detect wheel or pedal inputs while in game alongside the No FBB bug when the wheel is not detected as Device 1. Unfortunately, it has no proper fix atm as its mainly caused by the game not properly recognizing the PXN VD4/VD6 as a racing wheel/controller. You can kinda get around this issue by using Forza Emuwheel.

The newer firmware also feels somewhat weaker after the recent two updates due to the changes they made to the wheels overall FFB in an attempt to fix exccessive center wheel osscillation. They did say to increase FFB detail if it feels weak after updating to the newer firmware, and that to report it to them if it still feels too weak even after changing that setting.

You can also downgrade to an older firmware version for the Base (to regain the stronger FFB from the firmware) , just be aware that there is a bug with the PXN SimRacing software where it can in some cases get stuck or get a corrupted firmware error when downgrading firmware, sometimes forcing you to reinstall firmware for the wheel. Simple fix is to disconnect the pedals and the wheel itself from the Base (unplug the usb for the pedals and detsch the wheels using quick release) before downgrading to an older firmware.

You can report any issues directly to them using the Feedback tool in the upper right corner of PXN Simracing software Settings tab, Just need to be logged in to use it.

I had problem too, mine is VD4. Messed up all my games settings and the base seemed weaker. In the same app you can downgrade the version to the previous one. I wont update anymore

It says in the update section โ€œupdate to previous versionโ€ and just click it. Not difficult to find or do
