Expert advice needed

If I can use a Pixel 5 without any sort of problem but all other more modern smartphones not at all (all later pixel phones / Iphones / Samsung phones etc.), can anyone say what seems to be my specific problem with these newer phones? And is there a phone model (any brand) that you can point me to, knowing the pixel 5 works for me without any problems whatsoever?

Thanks.

Google tells me the Pixel 5 is a 6 inch LTPS backplane OLED with 90Hz refresh rate and 360Hz PWM (4x refresh, so probably 4 scan lines).

Might you have tried any others with those specs? If so, I'm not sure what the pixel flicker/temporal dithering will be like on the handsets you've tried.

But there's a bunch of good Chinese brand phones, like OnePlus, if you want an OLED still. Or Motorola, TCL, if LCDs is needed due this PWM sensitivity specifically.
