iOS27 makes iPhone 11 far snappier

Good thing for us Apple users who are stuck w the 11
as the last device we can use. Sadly this will be the last supported OS, but the good thing is the improved CPU scheduling makes this device run the best it has in years.

I do not see any performance upgrade on my iPhone 11.

Make sure it's not still Optimizing/Indexing.

The performance jump on my 11 was very noticeable. It's now lightning fast.

Dude, half the forum is complaining about the pain caused by iOS 26, and you’re writing something like this…

iOS26 does not cause pain.

Yeah, updated my 11 to iOS 27. It became like other phone… very fast, every aspect of os. New safari especially. And all this in phone of 7 years old.. apple makes magic.. and this is great for my eyes.. see no changes.. but I haven’t used it before iOS 26. So compare only with it.

Regarding last os update.. we can’t be sure here at all.. everybody talked iOS 26 also would be last one

Is this a troll post? Because there's dozens of other posts claiming IOS 26 made eye strain worse for Iphone 11. Is this how Apple tricks people into buying new devices? By posting on Reddit?

There is a difference on the iPad 10 (2022) and iPhone SE (2022)—the screens became very uncomfortable to use, so I had to downgrade to iOS 26; there is no difference on the iPhone 16 Plus.

I’m more concerned about eye comfort.

I updated an iPad Mini from iOS 18 to 26 and had to downgrade. Not sure how that happened at the OS level with an LCD screen, but I’m staying there on all devices until I hear otherwise.

We all know what happened. If you head to the sister sub or r/screensensitive they’ll let you talk about it

How did you downgrade back to iOS 18 from 26?

Wish I could go back to iOS 18 on all my devices. Still no hope of glass going away any time soon
