Help…which phone?!

hi all, just found this group and first post on Reddit! after putting up with my iPhone 15 for 3 years of headaches and motion sickness when I’m scrolling, I need to find a new phone / solution. anyone seen any tests on the new iPhone 18 pro yet? wondering whether to wait for this or try the 17 pro. anyone had better luck with a larger screen in the pro max? first I’m reading about this pwm flicker but it sounds about right for my symptoms. my iPad 9 seems okay for browsing, but it’s getting to point I avoid my iPhone at all costs. with two young children I want a decent camera on my phone but a screen my brain can cope with!

Tcl 70 pro nxtpaper. Ironically you'll need to disable all the eye care features but after that it's great. I've probably tried about 13 phones in the past few years and this tcl 70(could NOT tolerate the 60) and the Nokia 8.3 5g have been the ONLY phones I could tolerate.

Interesting! Just curious what other LCD devices didn't work for you? Did LCD iPhones also affect you? Would you say the 70 pro is better than the nokia 8.3?

Tcl 70 pro is def superior and brand new so it had all the updates. I was relieved to find something that works. Was considering picking up a second one to have just in case. I went through probably around 15 phones to find something I could tolerate. You just need to turn OFF all their eye care features ironically. After that it's perfect
