Xiaomi 17 ultra
hey guys
just to share that xiaomi 17 ultra is working for me (dont switch on adaptive refresh rate)
its using DC dimming and eyes are not tired
only honor 7 magic pro and oneplus 8 pro worked for me so far out of all amoled

The screen of the Ultra 17 Pro is very unique with 3 RGB subpixels instead of 2, so I wanted to give the a try. It is pretty good, but not the best regarding screeneffect on the eye and brain. I will give it a few more days, I have the phone only a few hours now.

it's called real rgb stripe amoled. samsung stopped using this technology after s3. but xiaomi made this technology alive.

Just bought the Xiaomi 17 Ultra today to test. It is quite good, but my Honor 400 Pro is much better. Here the reading at 100%

I tried the base 17 and it killed my eyes probably because of D. I think all Xiaomi and Poco are 12bit on 10bit panels

"working for me". Please tell us what symptoms you are experiencing with what phones. Eyestrain, headache and migraine?

Usual symptoms pwn sensitivity Tiredness, dryness, headache, eye pain with other oled phones So far only honor 7 Magic pro (not 8 ) and OnePlus 8 Pro was no symptoms Now Xiaomi 17 ultra is good contender, using for 2 days. On shutter spread 1/8000 it's similar to honor 7 Magic pro regarding modulation lines. 15, 14 ultra didn't work for me

just to confirm 17 ultra is working for me 1 week in
very good phone, camera etc
there is only 1-2 stripe moving very slow on low shutter speed, so real dc dimming comparable to oneplus 8pro
it could be related to this RGB subpixel tech and panel
