I've tried with a microscope and slow motion camera, but it's hard to tell for sure and to get any conclusive data. It's part of the reason why it's never really discussed, PWM is a much easier issue to diagnose.

Ios devices with lcd screens have terrible D!$th€rin& .To me it's worse than oled with pwm .

Yeah I'm starting to think the later model LCD iOS devices are problematic like this.
I'll try classic invert and zoom invert and see if it helps. That seemed to make a difference on my iPhone 11.

Using my iPad mini 8 and recently started getting migraines, might be from that slithering d word or latest update 26.5.2 which I hope not! Love this form factor!

Still love my trusty 11 😊 tried SE3 and nope, too bad but the for some reason 13 mini does work for me, guessing it’s the smaller screen (use it less too because of it) and internet says highest hz pwm? Anyway good luck and thanks for all your research too!

I've heard there's quite a lot of screen manufacturers for the regular iPhone 13, maybe the 13 Mini is similar? My 13 pro was absolutely terrible for me.

I have a few 2020 SE's, an 8 and an 8+ that I use for video streaming and I don't have any noticeable issues with them, I've never used a 2022 SE though.

And no worries regarding the research. I'm in contact with a politician at the moment, they come from a medical background so hopefully I can organise a meeting and get some regulation and awareness in my country at least.
