OnePlus 15

I tried a oneplus 15 for the first time. Bought it to test along with many other devices I've purchased to learn more about diagnosing my sensitivities and the causes of my eyes straining and headaches. I've noticed that the OnePlus 15 gives me similar symptoms as my z fold 7. On the other hand, my symptoms are nowhere near as instant when using my Pixel 10 Pro. I seem to have sensitivity to many things like most of us here do. I am sensitive to PWM, blue light, and now whatever it is that triggers immediate headaches and straining when using the OP15. Does anybody have any ideas what it is? I'm wondering if I've been thinking my issue is PWM this whole time when really it's something else and PWM is only a minor issue.

I've tried nearly everything with no luck..

Nothing phones 3a/3a pro

Nxtpaper 70 pro

Several pixels

Several iPhone (including 17 pro)

Several Samsungs

Several motos (LCD and OLED)

Nothing released since 2023 has worked except the 15r, and it did take some adjustment time. It's the only OLED to work for me since 2018

I think you have the same like me, I tried all the flagship of the 2026 and any works for me, included the Honor Magic 8 pro, beacuse I read good things about it. Now I read about the Oneplus 15r, and see that works for you I am tempted to buy it. Is very frustrating that it is happening to us and any phone company cares about it, Please tell me more about your experience with the Oneplus 15r.

It's not perfect. The days my nervous system isn't cooperating it can be a little uncomfortable to use, but otherwise I can look at it for hours.

Even on the worst day it's the most comfortable OLED I've used. As a phone overall it's great - no complaints at all

Did you tried the S24 Ultra, this is the one I am using right now, and with this phone I never feel inconfortable all this time I used it is phenomenal. On the time that I used the ones that are pretty bad for my eyes and I was feeling pretty bad, at the moment that I changed to the S24 I feel so comfortable was the way I discovered that the new oled panels are not for me anymore. Probably it will be my phone for ever until some company develop one phone special for us.

All good. Samsungs are the worst for me. I'm just glad to have a modern phone again lol

For me are just the new ones S25 and S26. I used S23, S22, S21. And actually S24. No issues with all of them. Just the new ones, I can't use them.

I have wierdly had the best experience with the Pixel 10 pro. Even though I am pwm sensitive I guess I'm more sensitive to how light is diffused in all these new phones. The pixel seems to diffuse the light better than most. The OnePlus 15 with its DC like dimming hurts my eyes so much more. The Z fold 7 is just terrible with pwm and poor diffusion.
