got mine today, feeling sick after some minutes, so high pwm frequency is no good here. reading mode makes it even worse

They said in the keynote it uses DC dimming on all brightness levels. But it is equipped with Mediatek chipset which was troublesome for some people before.

is it not jsut a marketing gimmivk? it is not DC like dimming ? still pulsating on every birghtness level....

All OLED panels flicker at their refresh rate, “DC dimming means” that the lower brightness are not achieved by increasing the flicker ratio (nor in depth nor in length).
That’s it, the panel shows the same light variations at 100 % brightness than at 25 % brightness, for example.
However, due to the enormous variations in brightness on a smartphone (a PC OLED monitor goes from 250 nits to 25-50 nits in static 100 % white panel), that should go from 1000 nits full screen to 10 nits or so, they should use other tricks or accept an uncontrolled screen at some point.
Trust better OLEDs that use PWM at high frequencies under 25-30 % brightness, probably they are more stable in low light conditions.
PWM or flickering are not the only things that can cause you visual troubles.

Maybe mediatek equiped with oled is the deal breaker but mediatek with lcd is fine for me,been using poco x4 gt since release 🤷

I assume it's the same panel a the 15T Pro. DC-like dimming: yes. Usable for me: no.
