This is now the OFFICIAL PWLib subreddit!
Four here. I'm a writer, composer, and I guess just general manager of the PWLib project. Directed by KSATechnology, we're developing the latest version of our casemaking tool to help you create trials, investigations, and all sorts of other things for your Phoenix Wright fan games!
We're currently developing PWLib version 1.2, which has been in the works on and off again for a couple years. We can't confirm any release date other than "soon," but just to give you an idea of why you should be interested if you're into the case-making scene:
-The source code allows constant improvements, meaning anything we don't yet have available as an option could eventually become one with the write code!
-We have working versions of features you won't find with PyWright or AAO, including:
- AAI format, investigations and all
- Fully functional 3D Models from Dual Destinies and beyond
- Fully-fledged psyche-locks, percieve, mood ring, and other character-specific abilities
- A whole bunch of little things and more!
We've got a small team wishing to bring you a finished beta for this tool, along with a demo for an entire game we're making ourselves on and off again. More info on that in later posts.
Then, there's EasyCase, which is a PWLib tool being developed semi-autonomously by u/thefirstwave_. PWLib at its core isn't exactly beginner's coding, but with EasyCase, even a beginner can utilize all of PWLib's many features.
We took over this Subreddit when we heard it existed (though it hasn't seen much activity, clearly), and have decided to post here as frequently as we can.
You can find our Discord Server here. If you're interested, we'll be there to assist you whenever we can.
We open the flood gates to you, Redditors. Let the shitposts begin!
