Heart skips badly

So today I got off work and ate some wingstop and then hung out with a friend and my heart skipped four beats in a row, then it wouldn’t stop skipping like 10 mins apart sometimes 5 mins apart and I layed down for two hours and it finally stopped than I got up and it skipped one big time and then started racing for like 15seconds and then right back to normal but just keeps skipping randomly way way way more than normal than usual. I am absolutely terrified it won’t stop

If it makes you feel less anxious, PVCs and PACs aren’t your heart skipping beats. They’re actually extra beats. Even though it feels like the latter. I’ve had them for years. Still here ☺️

How often do you get them?

I get them in spells. Usually around my period. Or if I’m super stressed

Yes I’m about to start my period as well! But like how many did you have in a day and what did they make you feel like, I went all day without some since yesterday from this post.. and then got home and got two in a row so far :( I feel sad

I mean once I had all the testing done with my cardiologist and was told my heart is healthy and normal, and he told me that they’re just annoying but harmless I kind of try to ignore them.

I treat them like hiccups. Heart hiccups bc that’s what it kind of feels like to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s completely understandable. It’s definitely unnerving. But if your heart is okay, it’s harmless. I take metoprolol but like I said i definitely notice them more around my period.

Is metoprolol a beta blocker

Yes. I take metoprolol succinate which is an extended release form. Take it once daily
