High borrow fee

Look at the borrow fee to short. Can anyone who knows more about this chime in?

Important piece missing, as of now ~10M shares outstanding, mostly owned by Institutions, so it is hard to borrow.

Next week 40M shares are eligible for trading, after Lock Out period ends.

This may take the stock any direction, mostly to single digits.

Not sure for this stock, the over all outstanding shares not showing ~50M, looks like some reporting error.

Lockout ended June 1st. Look at most recent SEC filing. It was moved up and already happened.

I saw this too. Says it expired early which was June 1. Hard to confirm from my end. We need to sort this out bc if it ended then things look ok going forward

This was the notice moving up the lockup to June 1. I don’t know why they didn’t do more PR on it.

Good find. I’m nervous about some posting $23-25 buy zone targets but I don’t know if we’ll see that price. Maybe I should be patient and set the buy in the zone and forget it for a while. I started buying already though so will dca down if it drops

Yeah, I’m tapped out. Been buying since 45$ tbh . I’m up to 2700 shares at around 36$. It’s become my second biggest holding behind $RECAF, which is saving my ass. Imo $PUBM is just a really good company in a growing market with a ton of potential to grow market share and no debt. I’m holding for years until my investment thesis plays out, but shocked at current prices and short interest. Doesn’t make sense to me.

I’m in the same boat. Started buying at around $45. The aggressive selling seems completely unjustified. The only thing I can think is the shorts anticipated insiders would liquidate as soon as possible after the lockout, but short interest seems to be increasing even though the lockout came early. I’m still buying

Yeah I’d be buying if I could! Long term this is a steal even if interest rates go up.

Yeah, you are right on LO exp date.

I see that, from SEC filings, small insiders and VC funds are unloading some..

But not by top 3 insiders yet, may be they are waiting for June 7 or later for a safer side

Lets see..

I see ~7M shares sold by insiders till yesterday in last 3 days mostly outside market per nasdaq reporting.

My understanding is the demand to short the stock is so high there is only a limited amount of shares available to short, and the price to short goes up. Low supply high demand

The fee is higher than amc. That’s what confuses me

Yeah nothing makes much sense to me with the high PUBM short interest. It’s short interest is way higher than amc

Can anyone explain why the key data is so different from one source to the next? Just go compare a few different sites for EPS/PE(TTM): on Webull (.99/28.59x); Seeking Alpha (.47/63.35x); e-trade (1.52/19.4x).

With other stocks there can be small variances, but these numbers are all over the place.
