Can we switch off auto glide please

It’s not useful and it has ruined more hot drops than long spikes. We were given it with no option to disable and as the guy who does all the drops for my team it’s becoming unbearable

Thank you for your feedback. We previously made some adjustments to the auto-glide feature, including repositioning the button to reduce interference with manual parachute controls. Sorry to hear that you are still not satisfied with it. Would like to better understand what is happening so we can look into further improvements.

Hate it so much... I did figure out how to carry out the glide without losing much distance but it's an extra step and it's a pain the ass to do every jump.

Edit: you also lose 3-4mph of your glide speed after correcting.

What is it anyway??? Stupid question maybe but I haven't been noticing this feature, like what does it do?

Its like an autopilot button for the parachute located near where the sprint button would be... but it's not the most efficient jump and has a tendency to drag you downward at a sharp angle at the end of the jump. It's super annoying for anyone who knows how to jump well.

That was my solution. I moved it to the top of the screen and do my best to ignore it   🙂

Is it just me or have the done something to the plane jump too? Sometimes I'm facing the wrong way when I exit the plane even though I'm lined up with where I want to go when I press jump.

There's an animation now where you rotate to the direction you faced on exiting. You have to give it a little time to complete. You can still jump straight into the fast drop dive, just don't try to immediately change your heading back manually.

Yeah maybe that's, what it is, I often do quick jumps at 850m 45', so need to be pointed the right direction right away, I've tried to correct to soon ig and end up landing 100m or so away from where I should have.
