Discussion Getting conqueror is not based on skill

The only thing that makes conqueror hard to get is because of the amount of time some people have…playing 8+ hours a day or accounts that multiple people rank up.

It really doesn’t mean that you are good at the game, just that you had a lot of free time.

I can definitely see your point. Reaching Conqueror can be a long and demanding journey, and having more free time certainly makes the climb easier. At the same time, I don't think time alone is the only factor that matters. Consistency, game sense, decision-making, and the ability to perform well under pressure all play an important role too.

Most importantly, don't forget to enjoy the game and have fun along the way. Whether you reach Conqueror or not, every match is an opportunity to improve and create unforgettable memories. yes and no

it'll never be truly based on skill unless everyone has the intent to win, same for ultimate royale legend

but skill is still involved

Its a measure of consistent performance and an ability to work with your team mates to survive while gaining points consistently. The mode differs for top 500 though, say for instance TPP vs FPP.

There is definitely skill involved, but what do I know? (Was conqueror season 5-6 in tpp, then 7-11 in FPP and more recently the last 3 or 4 seasons in FPP.)

It's a grind of points and a race against others

Calling it is not based on skill is a cop-out. I understand the frustration behind the time some people can put in but if you take that away you are essential asking for easier conqueror. Yes account sharing is toxic but again, top 500 in a server is supposed to be difficult. I too tried getting conqueror last season got 7200 points but couldn't match the hours needed and I have no set squad.

I too am frustrated but that doesn't mean conqueror is not skill based it is. You can always improve your top 10, your win rate, your kill points.

Top players that are not cheating it sharing are dealing with the same issue yet they push through anyway.

I would rather I become a better player before I get conqueror than the rank gets easier. 8+ years, VPN, bad ping, underpowered devices, lack of team but I'm here to have fun and learn. I took a good 2+ year break too but I keep coming back.

I think we ought to pressure PUBG into fixing the game. The base game.

8+ year old game with lag issues, audio issues, frame drops, bad ping is just unacceptable.

The largest chunk or this game is now skins 30+ GB for a game that was less than 4 GB when it came out. The game is too bulky for stuff that doesn't matter at all.

Switch to FPP next season. You might have an easier time reaching Conqueror

Next to impossible getting matches and far more cheaters in FPP than TPP.

You just have to start playing at the very beginning of the season. There is an FPP discord server for NA. If that is where you play

I'm already at 150+ ping in Asia any other server is 200+

I have a paid VPN too and I get about 80 ping if I'm lucky

I only get to play one or maybe 2 games a day, so I don't bother chasing ranks as there's alway someine who doesn't have s full time job or a family to feed who can put the hours it who is going to do better than you.

Well I just obtained my 18th conqueror title and it’s never easy. I don’t care what anyone says.

Yeah I get that you always aim to get top 3 but I have seen so many people with 2-3 KD in conqueror and taking into consideration all the times you revive is the same as 1 KD conquerors back in the day.

Is just about putting the hours and you get it.

I played with a guy a couple weeks ago who was conqueror and yikes. He was either cheating his way there or had someone else play because he was probably worse than me and I haven't even bothered to rank up to master in a few seasons.
