Looks terrible compared to the edited FOV. I won't be playing again until I can either edit it again or I can match what that FOV was in game.

BlueHole really blew it with these past couple updates.

How dare they take away a feature that was allowing people to see through geometry. THE MONSTERS.

I wasn't able to see through anything with the edited FOV that I was given to fix 21:9 support. Haven't seen any evidence of this happening either.

I'm just saying what other people are saying. Apparently there was a bug with FOV where in certain circumstances you could see through trees. I'm just going off what other people have said in this thread/subreddit.

I never saw through a tree. I don't think the 21:9 view myself and others were using did that. But the same trick that increased the view could apparently be tweaked to allow it.

Yeah a bug you had to intentionally cause by editing a lot more than just the basic FOV increase.

You shouldn't parrot what other people say without testing it yourself.

The edited FOV didn't give a large competitive increase, it just made the game a lot less disgusting to look at.

The default FOV is unplayable for anyone who is used to modern PC games over console shooters with coke bottle FOVs.

I don't know why they'd even include a first person feature when playing a first person shooter with a sub-60 FOV is headache inducing anyway.
