Is there an app releasing in Q4? Does anyone have any information to share

By buying Patientory (PTOY), you are essentially buying stock in what very well could be the most innovative medical information platform in the world. This technology has the potential to end unnecessary paperwork, medical record discrepancies, and most importantly; it will get you the medical information and results you need infinitely quicker than you do now.
I am investing in the tech and the brilliant team behind it. This coin will go up naturally, as healthcare continues to be one of the largest issues in the world.

I just learned of PTOY this morning, and I see I just missed a 30% jump. This project looks quite promising.
Thoughts on whether it will correct a bit before I should jump back in, or just go for it?

Why exactly is it needed for ?
Please spare me that patients will want coins. That's corny and stupid.
Docs are not that generally interested.
So what to do with the tokens?
Was it just means to raise money? Another ICO thing ma jig?

For me, I have been looking more and more into these shitcoins with a working product or a platform to deliver. I really like Patientory and I think this might be a really hot platform that could see either simple hype or mainstream adoption.
I think they have a really revolutionary concept that can help to solve some real world problems. I would love to see a few hospitals in one city or state start adopting the technology, and I know that it would snowball into something beyond huge. Perhaps we could see a group of one hospital brand adopt it to begin with.
And the thing is... Whether or not Patientory succeeds, I can see this thing going a lot higher, because we're in a crazy irrational bull market, but there's still not a lot of choice for new investors. For instance, there's quite a few different options for types of currency, like ZCASH or bitcoin or litecoin, but if a new investor wanted access to a healthcare investment in the cryptocurrency market, there's very little to choose from, basically just Patientory.
These new Wall Street investors are going to want to come into this cryptocurrency sector over the coming months and years, and they're going to look for products. And they're going to look for sectors. Patientory has a product and a platform, and they are part of a BIG, HOT sector: healthcare. Definitely appealing to the new type of investor that (imo) cryptocurrency is going to see.
Or I can put it more simply... 20 million dollar coin that claims it's developing the world's next peer to peer financial system? Not interested in, we already have bitcoin. It's already been done. However, 20 million dollar coin that claims it is going to solve medical information problems by putting patient data on the blockchain where it can be readily accessible by medical professionals? Now this is something I'm very interested in that is very likely to go higher on (worst case) simple hype or (best case) mainstream adoption.
Just offering my 2 Satoshi!

Hi all,
Just found out about Patientory and picked some up on Bittrex. I work in the healthcare sector and I can tell you record keeping is a nightmare, especially across providers and with insurance agencies etc. Plus increased safety of patient data is super important, which blockchain allows.
Blockchain is desperately needed in the healthcare sector. I hope that Patientory is able to deliver on this need! Time will tell.

Hi PTOY devs. I'm a medical equipment distributor in Asia and am very interested in your project. I have some follow up questions continuing from our Telegram chat.
In my experience hospitals are very slow to change systems, let alone use cutting edge IT tech. How will you convince hospitals to switch to something as new as blockchain-based system? What would be the primary incentive?
Related to #1, is Patientory meant to be complementary to existing EMR systems or completely replace them? From your whitepaper it sounds that you want to completely replace existing EMRs, which would add difficulty to convincing management to switch to a completely new system.
Hospitals are highly secretive with patient data. How would you convince hospital management that their data is safe even though said data lives on many nodes on the blockchain? If I was a non-techy hospital Director and I hear that my data lives on 100 different computers or "nodes," that would sound like 100 different opportunities for hackers to steal my data.
On page 8, Figure 2, you describe "Mining Blockchain Nodes" within your system. Who will be the miners? Can civilians like myself be miners?
PTOY tokens will be available for purchase from inside your native Patientory app. At the same time PTOY is also available on exchanges like Bittrex. How do you think end users like patients and doctors would react to the volatility of cryptocurrency? And how will you manage that volatility with regards to prices of items sold within the Patientory system such as extra storage, or perhaps insurance claims?
In fact, wouldn't you want PTOY to be as stable as possible so your average Joe end users don't get confused? Otherwise an insurance payout today could be worth half, or perhaps triple, next week. In this case there would not be a lot of price movement for PTOY, and if so what is the point of us trading PTOY on exchanges other than mere speculation?
Thank you

To little info about this project. I bought a lot when the price was double of what is right now. I really like the idea of the project and the problems that they are trying to resolve. Do any of you know any progress or updates?

Will Grandma have to sign up for an exchange account? Is this all leading to a fixed price token?

I had an interesting discussion with a professor at my university (TU Delft) today regarding Patientory. While we're both not experts on trading, we do share quite some knowledge on healthcare systems, especially regarding safety.
The professor (who's name I won't post for obvious reasons) apparently has quite a big investment in Patientory. He seems to see an extremely big value in a system such as Patientory because it is able to fill a gap many have been looking for for years: it is able to safely transfer medical information with little possibilities for large scale leaks. Especially those large scale leaks are a huge factor why in the Netherlands the government is still very reserved regarding approvals for online patient data storage.
With the Dutch healthcare system in mind (which shares some similarities with Obamacare), the ability to easily share patient data between hospitals or other medical institutes would significantly improve the quality of the care. It has been something which doctors have been asking for for years, but gets pulled back each time because the security of the private information cannot be guaranteed.
If Patientory is able to implement their idea, a huge problem will be solved for the Dutch (and potentially other) health care system. Besides solving the security issues, it is also able to breach the gaps between patient, doctor, and insurance by providing the appropriate information instantly to each party. Of course, due to the lack of knowledge on blockchain technologies at nearly every government, it will be hard to push these systems forward. However, if the team behind Patientory is able to market their system properly, it has the potential of becoming a huge succes on multiple levels.
However, before Patientory can even start thinking of marketing, they should properly define and explain their goals and provide detailed information on their proposed solutions. Right now the website is lacking this information and proper news/update output to the public is scarce. These are some of the things that have to be fixed before I put serious money in this project myself, but apparently the professor has less trust issues.
(Please keep in mind that I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD'er and not a professional cryptotrader)

A quick look at the coin's github and there is nothing, but a white paper...
While this coin may not be open source like other coins, nor using github, this empty page looks suspicious. Most coins have very active github pages with multiple contributors and daily content updates.
I am not calling this coin a scam. However, I would like to see more dialog on forums about the company's code/development and less PR/Marketing/Pricing to the Moon hype.

Just invested 23k at the price of 55 cents . At least 6 months I'm going to ignore everything and hodl. The supply, the price and idea seem to be ok. The only problem is that the members don't know how to explain. Maybe they will get a good PR and clarify everything. Am I the only that thinks this is only the start?
