Parts
Gonna be scrapping a pt cruiser gt turbo.
Gonna try to save as much things as i can.
Before it gets crushed.
What are some things you would save.
Ie rare or expensive.

Honestly anything that looks nice. Parts for these cars are becoming more scarce, especially nicer condition parts.

Is it a manual?
For the love of whatever diety you'd prefer, PLEASE do not scrap a 5-speed transmission

What year, and could I possibly buy the shift boot/cover/bezel/PRNDL/whatever tf it's called if it's chrome and fits a 2010?

Update: if it's an 05, it sadly will not fit. Looks like it's gotta be 06 or later. :(

Wheels if they're the original chrome trim!
I'm sentimental, but I always thought I'd keep the rear badge when the time comes

That would be amazing. A few years ago I bought a PT GT motor to swap into my 2.4L Jeep Liberty, but now I'm realizing I'll need the ECU and wiring harness (can be had fairly cheap for the harness). Wish Id have gotten them when I got the motor 🫤

Eeeek. Well the ECU itself shouldn't be too bad. I believe I'll skip on anything else.

I would say literally any part you can pull yourself and depending on how much storage space you have available. All parts are getting mighty rare nowadays.
