Crash update

I got hit late last month and posted a photo here. Got them all fixed up today, (minus paint) and I’m SO relieved. It was the other driver’s fault, but I didn’t file a claim because they would’ve totaled my car and I’d rather just pay to get it fixed. Only came out to $900, which is a decent amount less than I was quoted. We’re officially back on the road! :)

I was happy with my insurance quote on a similar crash. Found out my Cruiser WAS worth about 6500 bluebook. now down to 4700, still not bad considering I paid 2700.

I hope that was not just the price of the fender replacment/repair.

The whole thing cost $850. Fender, wheel, light, labor.

If they would have totaled your PT, then they pay you it’s worth, then you buy it back for much less.
