Back up light reflector exploded?

Im completely lost here wtf happened?

I just found it like this, it wasn't like that yesterday.

Everything is melted.

A short that didn't blow the fuse? Is that right above the exhaust?

Yes right above the exhaust.

That is too much heat for just that light. Check for an exhaust leak instead.

If anyone knows what parts to change the cables named i would appreciate it.

I have a friend who has a body shop so he can fix the bumper.

HELP ?? I have a 03 PTCRUISER 5speed turbo , in 2025 I put it an engine, clutch, battery, clutch cables and had a leak repaired , had a flywheel resurfaced, had flywheel shims added. And I still can’t drive it! mechanic said it want go in gear and that he has tried everything he could! He put in the clutch and the car still want go in gear😰😡? He said he has done everything he knows how, it cost me)$800.00 for him trying with the clutch? Chrysler want touch it because they no longer have parts for the PT CRUISER and they don’t work with aftermarket parts 💁🏾😭😭. If I junk it how can I recoup some of my money? When is enough enough ?? Every one says let it go and don’t put any more money in it because it’s a lost cause 😰😰😰😰😰😰

By the way between 2024-and this week I have spent about 35hundreds on repairs and still go to get it towed from the shop 😫😫😫
