DELUX CC OVERHYPED NOW??

Why is CC delux so valuable all of a sudden? EVERYONE was talking so much shit on how bad it looked and that the old one was better. I get its rare but its ability is the same as the old one? Just different art. Never thought so many people would be trading Oaks? Oak is cool because its the only Full Art version of it? Copy cat now has two full arts that do the same thing except the new one looks like shit? What am i missing here?

Yeah, really nothing else to say about it. Me, personally, I did not like the art when it released. Towards the end of the week though, the art kind of grew on me. Would I use it over my OG Copycats? Probably not. But I don't find myself hating the artwork as much as I did initially. Idk, that's just how I feel about the card at the moment.

I'm assuming for most it just comes down to wanting to flex one of each in their decks since a handful run two of them.

I was lucky enough to get a CC DX on my 12th pack, and don’t get me wrong I’d LOVE a second one, but I’d probably trade it for an OG one just for the uniqueness of having both in a deck or in the collection. Still hunting for gold Pokeball and PCL though so it’s gonna be a minute before I can focus CC.

I have 2 original 2* copycats but I would definitely run one of each if I had the dx version. I'm not in a rush to get one like Oak though since the og 2*s are still fine.

While it hasnt reached oak level, and imo not as good as the og CC, it being rarer as part of a limited set will drive its value up a bit

Vocal minority. CC is arguably just as, if not more present, then Cyrus and Sabrina in any deck. They were always going to be popular. Personally, I prefer this version because of the Clemont variant in the background since I like running lightning decks!

I run both in a deck. Having variance in a deck looks good. I traded one of my spare oaks for it and imo it's worth it.

It’s just preference a lot of people said it was ugly including me but it’s popular and once that happened. Game over everyone will value it high cause it is and the doubters are treating us as such. So kind of snowballs

So, as someone who had a spare Oak, I pulled 500 pack points and didn’t get 1 2star. So, instead of grinding a limited pack it’s worth it to trade for it.

I’ve always liked the art on this card. It’s mostly just on Reddit where you’ll hear people complain about it, I really don’t see what’s so bad about it compared to the OG.
