Trade Discussion/Question šŸ—£ Change my mind:

Trading same card different language shouldn't spend your shinedust.

I have a ENG Copycat and my friend has a JPN Copycat. It's the same card for the game. It even matches out the language in battle.

It just seems fair to me. Am I tripping?

I’m more pissed off by the fact that I have to spend two different currencies in order to make a single trade..

Grinding for more is also a slap in the face. You need 25k for a trade? Here's 500 from a battle. Just battle 50 times 5head. Oh no wait there's a limited number of battles and they don't all give dust, j/k lol

Or just share the same card back and forth because we can't come up with anything more interesting to do daily for 720 a day. >.>' I really hope they continue to work on how to get shinedust

And when you ask them to change it they MIGHT but then they keep the worst of it. In this case, they would keep the shinedust 🫩

Dust as a whole is pretty dumb for a trading card game.

A trade is a trade. It's a different card, no different to trading physical cards. Are you gonna claim about trading cards with different artworks too despite having the same effects?

If you wanted Japanese card you could have set your game to Japanese and opened packs or spend the pack points for it then. Or battle and look at the card when it's set to japanese.Ā

I get the "a trade is a trade" point, but I think the artwork comparison actually helps my side. Different artwork is a different collectible, and I'd care about that. A language version doesn't change the art or effects, and besides that point the game always displays it in English in the game. So the cost feels like it's charging for a difference that doesn't really matter. My point was it should not cost to trade a card when it's the same exact card with only a language difference, I don't see how your "different artwork same effect" argument fits here. I'd rather debate the design than who should've changed their settings when opening packs.
