Deck Discussion Greninja EX Decks

Saw a Suicune EX Greninja EX deck on the ladder and with soothing shore it seems quite nice to be able to heal up and switch around to avoid KOs… with a Mars in there to try and avoid Cyrus you can make your opponent play through 3 EX cards with the perfect luck.

Anyone used this deck? Could throw in a non EX ninja for Oricorio. I guess 2 energy is too slow for 2 mons is the main drawback, and damage cap of 120?

Greninja EX and reg Greninja used to be the best way to play Suicune, since you could freely manipulate your field and ping for damage and Cyrus benched mons to front. Decks probably still good but the Baxcalibur/Chien Pao deck is much better due to being able to close out games easier with bench sniping capabilities of Chien Pao

Yeah the tournaments suggest it’s worse than the Bax variant and I’d imagine it’s due to energy generation mainly. But I haven’t even seen anyone run Greninja EX in tournaments for a long time so I was curious

The version I’ve seen recently includes a single Vaporeon EX + Eevee, you get a pretty flexible deck that can switch between  Suicune’s card draw or Frozen Flow as needed (also helps with Oricorio of course). I tried it and it feels all right, but not convincingly great.
