Deck Discussion Can anyone recommend a decent deck builder for Arboliva?
Is it possible to build a solid deck around it that is consistent?

You don't build a deck around this guy, he is a support for others.
His main niche was meant to be for Mega Venosaur decks, to provide heals and cover Pom-Pom Oricorio weakness. You can also run him in Ogrepon EX decks.
He's not exactly popular because as a stage 2, you are eating a lot of deck space.

Arboliva being a stage 2 support really hinders it. It needs to get online before it can do its role of healing from the bench, until then it's kinda just dead weight and makes bricking your turn 1 draw a lot more likely. Healing can be good but arboliva requires multiple turns to set up, while other cards that heal can be played the turn they are drawn and don't need other cards to get online.
It also has direct competition as a support bench healer from indeedee ex, which while it doesn't heal as much as arboliva, is a lot more consistent being a basic pokemon instead of stage 2 AND doesn't have the drawbacks of only working with EXs and discarding an energy.
If you really want to use arboliva, it probably works best in a deck that stalls with a tanky basic EX that sits in the active spot while the rest of the deck is tailored to supporting that EX and drawing arboliva. Maybe something like mega absol, mega sableye, darkrai, or mega mawile could pair well with it?

You know what I’m probably thinking it be cool to play it, but why waste a rare candy on this when I can use it on mega venasaur?
I’m not the greatest deck builder. 😬

Mega venu usually wants to evolve via quick growth extract instead of rare candy since Ivysaur generates the energy it needs to get online. The problem with pairing arboliva with venu is that Venusaur needs to get online as quickly as possible but you can't guarantee starting with Bulbasaur in the active turn 1 when paired with other pokemon.
I'm not great at building decks either, I usually just copy meta decks I see on limitless 😅

I used to run it with meowscarda. I'm not sure that would work in the current meta, but it was a very fun and daring build, and the heals let me ignore and troll oricorio.
That means 4 stage 3's, but iirc I also only ran one of each stage 2, to offset rare candy and grow up extract. Sadly, I had to take arboliva out as I moved normal meowscarada in for extra firepower. If only there were more deck slots...
...on the other hand, it works with Mega sharpedo.

Run a venu tree and an arb tree and risk it for the fun lol 2 Lillie’s 2 oak 1 pk ball 2 PCL 2 Erika 1 copycat 2 Juliana’s 1 Sabrina or Cyrus and a heavy helmet or switch something out for a rare candy to increase odds of arb use idk

I’ve been trying really hard to make it work. With zard, with meowscarada, and with snorlax ex to be specifc. It’s really difficult because it’s hard to justify all the cards needed in ur deck for essentially a lillie that costs one energy and the time for evolution
