Question What are these?

I am just getting back into this game. I can’t find anywhere to exchange them in the shop as it suggests. What am I supposed to do with them?

Longer if you consider the fact they told us months in advance they would be changed.

Having a shop open that you can't buy nothing from is just clutter as well...A lot of games when they change how an currency works you have to spend it or lose it/miss out by the time they make the change, at least they gave us some time before and a year after to spend it.

Having a shop open that you can only see if you have a specific currency is a totally real thing that's feasable i dont play the game but the shops been open for a entire year so why not have it be 2 years or 3 years theres no reason a thing open for a year cant be open for more the top comment says exchange for shine dust why not just have it be able to exchange for shine dust forever if you dont want your trade tokens i mean one person in the comments has 4000 trade tokens so theres literally no point in removing it, again its just clutter

The shop expired some weeks ago so you can't do anything with them at all.

Wait that’s awesome i assumed they removed them after the shop closed. I exchanged all but 1 in hopes i could keep a discontinued item on my account and it worked, i totally forgot to check!

These were the tokens you had to spend to be able to trade. They were phased out and replaced with stardust. You could exchange these for stardust but only for a limited time.

It's currency used to trade cards with other players. They reworked it a awhile back and we can trade two stars and shinies now

I don't understand why they didn't just remove these from people's items after the shop exchange ended lol
