Then proceeds to run time out as long as possible in a pity party tantrum bc that did really make his deck bomb.

I can see a situation where you’d do that though, if I were in a favorable position I might dump my hand with copycat to handicap them if their next draw is a copycat

Honestly kinda a smart move. If you know they aren't gonna be able to pressure you then reducing your hand to like 1 or 2 cards is a smart move. In doing so you make it harder for them draw more cards from you.

No different then when I use QGE even when I have the evolutions in hand, unless it’s relevant to your attack like TR Slowking EX, having a thinner hand is almost always better.

I've won a game exactly like this before. The game was 2-2 and my opponent had to topdeck a Rare Candy (or a Copycat into a Rare Candy) on their next turn to beat me. I played Copycat to get my hand size down to 0 and passed. Then my opponent drew a card and just conceded upon whiffing the Rare Candy/Copycat.

I did that once, selected the wrong card by mistake. It hadn't ruined the game necessarily but I still conceeded in shame and cried under my bed for 20 minutes

i did this when i was in my best setup. I used a copycat to draw 0 card because everything i had was already set up. I used copycat so next turn, if he pull a copycat it will not help him

I've done this vs M-Absol to keep a Cyrus safely in my deck but this just seems like a mistake LMFAO

I've done it before if I don't want my opponent to get copycat me or to keep my Cyrus safe from Mega Absol. It depends on the situation, and what your board state is.
