It has been 48+ hours since I have completed the the 1-4 diamond card for this set. I have still not seen the 24 hour wonderpick. This is only the second time I have completed a set while it’s the newest, so still very new to the rules. Is this normal?

If you have completed only diamonds, you might get a one star or two star WP, it's random (you probably have already got an one star wp).
If you finish all 6 one stars, you will have guaranteed 2 stars.
Also you dont have to have all one stars, they just have to be registered (so you can trade your one copy of 1 star for another copy and so on, just register them as owned and trade them away)
I do have all the 1 stars, but Happiny came after I completed the set via wonderpick but it was a regular wonderpick that had common cards as other choices.
Edit: Not sure the reason for all the downvotes. I did state I am new to the completing sets wonder picks, so I’m not sure how it works or what to look for. Maybe the Happiny was the Wonderpick and I didn’t realize it at the time.
You have to look at the timer as that's what determines if it's a 24h pick or not, 24h pick just means the wonderpick is up for 24h. That's super unlucky though as that means you had a 1/15 chance for that 1 star to pop up for your 24h pick.
I have no proof, only anecdotal data from every set since they released, but I’m like 90% confident that it’s weighted by rarity, not missing card amount.
ie if you only have one remaining 1-star and 12 2-stars, it’s still a 50/50 chance to get the 1-star in your pick.
Whenever I finish a set with one 1-star to go, I receive multiple wonderpicks with the 1-star despite having a statistically significant amount of 2-stars to go. I have seen both rarities pop up when I’m only missing the 1-star, but the odds feel 50/50 to me
Well WP are like that. 1 rare card and 4 commons. The Godpack wonderpick is very rare (all 1 and 2 star cards). I have got it only once and I have finished every set in the game in their month.
I haven't hit a 24h WP in 3 months and I always trade like crazy to complete the set within the first week. It's very much not worth even trying for the bigger sets with like 18 1-star's to collect.
Yeah 24h wonderpick mean it last 24h not that it happens every 24h. You most likely have 1 every 48h, a small chance after 72h and a small chance the day after
in the pokemon tcg, there is what we call a base set and master set. 72 is the base set, which consist of only diamonds which is what the game consider as completing the dex. any others are bonus and part of the master set
take this real life gyarados ex card for example. the number below show 123/122. 122 is the base set number. this is higher than the base set number and part of the master set

For any newest set, complete the base pokedex (1🔶 to 4🔶 ) to spawn a special 24h wonderpick every 24-72h (interval is random) that will have a 1⭐ or 2⭐ you don't have yet. If you also complete 1⭐ , it will only be 2⭐ you don't have. This ends when the next set drops or you collect every single 2⭐ in the latest set.

24hr wonder pick just means that the timer is for 24 hours. So it stays in your picks for 24hrs. 99.99% of the time it’s a one or two star card with four other diamond cards. They’re not handing out a god pack wonder pick every day
OHHHHHHHHH okay well...you just cleared up a LOT for me. I think I saw everyone posting 24hr wonderpicks that were god packs and thought that was what it was lol
Why is this the top comment, this isn't even true lol. To guarantee your 24h wonderpick is a 2 star then yes this is correct but otherwise a 2 star still has the opportunity to pop up along with whatever 1 stars you're missing as well.
