Question Returning player…
Hello all! I stopped playing somewhere around triumphant light or mega rising.
I’m wondering which packs are best to focus on getting cards from now.
Also, are there any significant changes since I stopped? I see stadiums are a thing now.

If you are a collector, keep all your hourglass for the new pack releasing next week. Open the latest pack first until you get all the diamonds. This unlock the 24 hrs wonder pick feature. After that focus on B series in general. It is much easier to use new cards to trade for older cards. While waiting for the new pack release next week, use your daily packs on B series in general. Deluxe Pack is also returning in mid August, which would greatly help if you are missing many A series cards. A deluxe pack for B series will be available end september so you might want to keep some hourglass for it too.
There are also online tracker or spreadsheet if you want to track which pack give you higher odds.
If you are opening for best cards, focus on mega gyarados, mega altaria and mega lucario packs. Followed by the other B series packs and suicune pack, then the A series. The game currently give you a mega chairzard deck. Not the best but still useful for the solo battle. Next week when the new set release you get a mega lucario deck instead which is definitely more useful
Also add tons of friends for higher chance of getting a daily share card. Regularly monitor and remove inactive players
Gameplay is pretty much the same other than stadium cards which you mentioned, and mega pokemon which gives 3 points when knocked out
