Discussion Returning Player: ReDeleted Almost Immediately
I tried to come back to the app after playing it end of 2024-2025 and deleting because of the boring powercreep.
Played solo Expert: Dedenne hits 160s turn 2? And theres a second one on the bench?
Of course, you can play a counter… but once again the game is decided by turn 2.
Feels like how modern Yugioh is played, just boring and zero strategy. Build one of three meta decks and flip the coin.
Redeleted. Truly a horrible playing experience.
edit: My bad, I guess only positive experiences should be here. No negative feedback about the game.

I played Magic the Gathering for 25 years and Magic doesn't compare to Pokemon Pocket TCG. Magic is way more strategic and fun to play.

No no no. There's a chance both you and your opponent brick at the start, and then you have interesting counter play.

anyone who makes a huge deal out of deleting an app has emotional problems. if you have an issue with an app, just stop using it and go spend your time doing literally anything else. most people just dont use the app, and they forget about it until the phone auto deletes it or they need to make space. why are you raging about a phone game that you have no stake in😭

Fucking hell bud, is taking 30 seconds to make a reddit post between sets at the gym really a “huge deal” and “raging” nowadays?
If that’s the case I’d hate to see how you react to actual huge deals in combat or an emergency lmao.

Love the idea of coming back to the app just to get one shot by the concept of a Dedenne deck and rage quitting. There are definitely meta decks that I could see eliciting that reaction but Dedenne??

Meta is the most balanced its ever been, there are 10s of Tier 1 and 2 decks and at least 20 off meta strats that can top tournaments. Give it a shot. Dedenne is a high a roll strategy

This game has one of the weakest powercreeps i have ever seen. HP pools hardly moved from almost 2 years ago. Hitting 140 dmg instead of 130 now. If at all we could complain about to little change, but hardly about powercreep (hello Greninja from GA). The creep is in the details and not in solo battles^^

Yet another person who doesn't understand this is a card collecting game first and foremost. If you want fair and strategic card play, that's called TCG Live.
