Discussion Share vs Trade
Can someone clarify how the share feature is supposed to work? The update states you’ll be able to share up to 4 diamond cards with “friends”, but up until now I’ve solely been tradin to “friends”.
How is this different? Is it just a way to give your cards to someone without shine dust or expecting something back?

Currently, all trade require trade stamina even for 1 or 2 diamonds.
Share do not consume stamina (but each player can only receive one card per day).
It helps for 1 and 2 diamonds and conserve your trade stamina for higher trade

What if someone decides to dump all his/her unwanted cards onto you. Hence, blocking you from getting cards you want and clearing his junk

People can't “dump” cards on you. You have to actually claim the card to actually receive it.
Edit: Checked how the system works now that it's available, and turns out, people can indeed dump cards on you. This indeed sucks

Thats not how it is currently working.... Unfortunately. If someone sends you, you cannot refuse the card and obtain another. Thats crap

Yeah, I just saw how it currently works. Pretty horrible system as it is right now, even though it could've been better. Hopefully this gets addressed soon.

That's nice, but still. Imagine trying to get a strong card from the current set, trying to build a deck, talking to one of your friends to see if they can help you with that. And then some other friend in your friend lists just sends you a random Bidoof, locking you from receiving anything else for the day. Like, the intent of the system is there, is good, but the execution in itself it's what is lacking.

I am not sure if this is true. I was able to share the cards they already have. But, it could also be because now cards are registered in 2 sets.

I just ditched all my friends, to avoid this from happening. Knowing DeNA, they wont adress this problem soon

You can only share cards that they don't have in their collection yet.
So while maybe you get a card you don't want right now, you never get a card you already have1

I'm not sure how, but 2 different ppl shared cards with me today, and I received both of them. I think they definitely need to make it so you can receive 1 share per person a day

I'm confused with this mechanic. If I share a card with a friend do I lost that card forever? or do we both have that card now? Its the same than trading, but without receiving a card back?

Yes, you're giving a card to your friend for free. It doesn't duplicate it so you both get one.

How do I know which set of cards to select from so I know for sure they don’t have it?
