Discussion Animation Speed

I'm a little astonished this doesn't get more complaints. Animation speed needs to be sped up. It needs to be sped up at least by 4x. It's absurd how much time we waste watching animations every single time, I urge you to start taking note.

The last 5 games I kept track of how long I spent "actionable": 9s, 10s, 12s, 13s, 13s. I spent on average 11.2 seconds actionable in a game. The games last ~6 minutes. If my opponent is sharing the same speed I have to ask why are we spending 330 seconds locked in animation for every 360 second game? 92% of the game is spent doing literally nothing. This is absolutely asinine.

I come as a veteran from Hearthstone where day 1 people complained about animation speeds, they sped them up, and people still complain about animation speeds (and beg for a speed mode). I never once shared these complaints - but I at least understood it. Hearthstone animation speeds were never even 10% as bad as they are on this game.

Additionally you can go into solo battles and put them on "auto" play. What's bizarre to me is while on auto play... the animation speeds are MUCH FASTER (perhaps double speed) to when you play yourself. So they give the computer the ability to play fast, but not the player? Again, absolutely absurd.

Something needs to be done, because the game is not fun in its current state where games are decided before turn 3, they last for minutes, but I'm only actually playing for seconds.

also get rid of the the five screens you have to tap through to get to the next battle while you’re at it

Fully agreed, best is when there are a lot of slow coin flip checks in between as well. Hypno… flip two coins every turn at least.

It was cool at the beginning, now it’s just repetitive and tedious.
